"Fantastic! I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Diaz. The Beautiful rolling countryside and coastline reminicent of North Yorkshire on a rare hot day! I made new friends! :) However, the village is somewhat isolated unless you have access to a car. The slow pace may well suit some. Unfortunately, the local railway servicing the smaller villages was abandoned some 15 years ago, in favour of the high-speed intercity railway, which is limited to servicing major towns and cites only. "Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The location worked well for us for what we wanted to see. It was a little hard to find. Driving through narrow streets. But overall very short walk to center of town. We really liked Veria. Great people! A couple small details would make the stay more convenient… The curtains let light in at night. Having Kleenex and a place to hang a robe would be good. Overall very nice stay."
