"A hotel used on and off for over 20 years but it desperately needs reconstruction. The rooms get very stuffy in the summer and the window only opens a few centimetres. Also what use is a bar that's only open Monday to Friday 0900 to 1500? Staff though are excellent and deserve a better working environment. "

"5 stars for all staff, absolutely excellent service, nothing was a problem!!! We have excepted much more from the food though, using frozen vegetable in meals, meals which should be served as hot was almost cold, instant taste in meals, etc... We had the same poor experience with food at hotel Konsel. It seems like both hotels in area are aware of being only ones with restaurants and are not bothered about quality of food...It is shame as mountain food has always been the best quality. "

"We had a nice, spacious room in an old building close to everything. I would give it a 5-star rating if it weren't for the bad mattress—it was very soft and almost folded when sitting on it. The breakfast was good, with a standard range of food. We also had a light dinner, which wasn't bad, but not up to the rating "Best in Litomysl". Perhaps pricewise?"

"Enjoyable and comfortable stay while attending Smetana Festival. Very clean comfortable family run hotel. Spacious bedroom and bathroom Very helpful and friendly staff. Appreciated the many artworks displayed in room and throughout the hotel, unexpected bonus! Only downside was there is no lift and although I had no difficulty managing stairs to third floor, not ideal with luggage."
