I booked Phillipos studio for 3 with sea view and balcony, we were put in another building with no sea view, and not even a hob to cook on , all wardrobes were locked except one small one. Also supposed to be air conditioning but there wasn’t 😡

Basic but very clean and just listening to the waves crashing on the beach was beautiful. If you arrive in the night this is an ideal stay before you go to your main hotel or a great place to stay on a budget

They touched my belongings while I was out and then put them in the lobby, saying I was supposed to check out but I was still staying another night. YEA! They are disorganized, didn't have my reservation which I booked through expedia. They charge you extra for AC, the WIFI IS TERRIBLE.

Location molto deludente rispetto alle recensioni. Sul mare:quasi vero. Arredamento: da ostello, aria condizionata a pagamento 5 euro al giorno!!!, niente TV. Reception assente per cui anarchia più totale con gente che di notte urla e talora è impossibile dormire. Bagno con tendina antigienica per la doccia. Prezzo alla pari di altri decisamente migliori. Conclusioni: c'è di meglio

Disappointing

Room was smaller than expected. And on the ground floor, which meant no privacy from the street, without pulling the curtain or shutters, which just made the room feel very small. Sea view was from the balcony, but there was no sense of looking out or vista from the room itself.There were shutters not fly screens which also made it dark and reduced the airflow in the room. The bathroom was tiny. on the ground floor near the front door it is quite noisy. The toilet was a bit of a trial, it would continually run unless we jiggled the toggle in the cistern. It seemed the water was turned off at night? There were a few mornings where water wouldn't come out of the taps until later on. The wifi was not adequate as we couldn't ever seem to get connected, or when we did it was only for a few minutes then it would drop out. That was a constant battle too. The air conditioning didn't come with a remote control so that had to be manually switched on. Often it simply wouldn't work until we'd turned it off and on a couple of times. But without a remote there was no chance of changing or regulating the temperature of the air so it was impossible to have it on during the night without it making the room freezing. Turning it off we just slowly boiled as there was no airflow through the shutters. We stayed 5 nights out of our booked and paid for 9 nights & then had to find somewhere else. It felt like an endurance test rather than a holiday.

Die Unterkunft war direkt am Meer und alles notwendige war fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr netter und freundlicher Service. Es war ein wirklich schöner und erholsamer Urlaub.

We booked this holiday to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary. We went to Kos for our honeymoon when money wasn't so freely available. We went self catering then so thought we would relive the experience. What we hadn't bargained for was a room that hadn't be improved or decorated for 25 years. I have never stayed in such a grotty room. There was a cupboard door hanging off in the shower room which was so small that the shower curtain (which stuck to you incessantly) actually flapped against the toilet whilst showering. We booked a sea view and to be fair if you leant over the balcony next door you could see the sea. The rooms are only serviced spasmodically. We ran out of loo roll on the Sunday due to the parasitic gastroenteritis which my doctor advises is most likely from a poorly maintained pool. The shutters were broken which allowed free passage to the voracious mosquitos. We flew home before our anniversary due to being so unwell and at a cost of an additional £164.00. Expedia have refused any meaningful refund and we will never use them again. I know they will remove this so will add it to trip advisor verbatim. This was the worst travel experience of my life

Apartment was ok. Had everything we needed. Kettle, cutlery, crockery, etc. I would’ve liked it to be cleaned more often. When the cleaners did so it was sparkling. Only twice in a week is not enough. There were no cleaning tools or I would’ve done it myself. Otherwise it was great. Sea view. 2 balconies.

Overbooking

Quando si è ingordi si fa ripetutamente overbooking. Alla fine Philippo ci ha sostemato, ma abbiamo dovuto fare tre cambi, sempre con la valigia in mano. No Philippo, la mia non è una buona recensione.

Comfiest mattresses ever ! Only bad thing was the shower very tiny and I always managed to soak the bathroom.. pool area was great and well looked after. Would defo stay again

Gezellig en gemoedelijk hotel. De eigenaar is sympathiek en wil alles voor je doen. Prachtig gelegen aan de rand van het dorp. Uitzicht over zee en de prachtige bergen. Is zeker een aanrader.

Appartamento a due passi dal mare

Abbiamo soggiornato dal14 al 21 luglio nella struttura. Situata a due passi del mare e con un ottimo ristorante di pesce vicino. Le camere sono piccole con balcone ma con tutto l'occorrente. La cortesia del personale è ottima. Piccola precisazione: siamo capitati nel periodo in cui è avvenuto il terremoto e devo dire che la struttura ha reagito alla perfezione non riportando alcun danno

Philippos molto disponibile e gentile. Purtroppo appena arrivati la nostra camera vista mare era ancora occupata e ci hanno assegnato una camera piano terra. Il giorno seguente siamo stati trasferiti in una abitazione più accogliente. Se andate a Kos non affittate macchine Abby car... Ci hanno cancellato la prenotazione e lasciati in attesa per ore in aeroporto.

Appartamento tranquillo e confortevole

Abbiamo alloggiato per 10 giorni presso uno degli appartamenti di Philippos, il quale è una persona molto gentile, disponibile, simpatica e sa parlare bene in italiano (anche se lui nega per farti allenare a parlare in inglese ahah )La struttura si trova a poca distanza dal centro di Kardamena ed è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. È in una posizione tattica per poter raggiungere le spiagge più belle che si trovano a Kefalos. Consigliamo di alloggiare nei tranquilli e accoglienti appartamenti di Philippos!

Bellissima struttura a due passi dal mare

Consiglio Philippos Studios come posizione strategica per visitare l'isola di Kos perche' non si trova nel centro caotico di Kardamena. La struttura e' piuttosto nuova, le camere spaziose e pulite (servizio pulizia in camera tutti i giorni), connessione internet eccellente (importante per chi lavora anche in vacanza), la piscina e' comodissima con servizio bar. Davanti alla struttura c'e' una spiaggia molto carina. Io ho noleggiato la macchina per girare l'isola e sono veramente soddisfatta della comodita' rispetto alle attrazioni da visitare.

SIAMO STATI BENE

Abbiamo soggiornato qui dal 18 al 25 luglio 2015. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Philippos è carinissimo ed è sempre super disponibile. L'appartamento si trova sostanzialmente di fronte al mare: la spiaggia è di sabbia misto ciottolini piccoli, e appena si entra in acqua si incontrano sassi e piccoli scogli; è una spiaggetta poso frequentata e il mare è splendido..solo un po' scomoda per via dei sassi. Se vi spostate di qualche metro a destra troverete la parte sabbiosa con stabilimenti gestiti dai locali sulla spiaggia dove, se consumi, non ti fanno pagare ombrellone e lettini. Per raggiungere il centro di Kardamena bastano 5min. La zona è silenziosa e ventilata. La camera ha i letti singoli uniti, abbastanza comodi, un bagnetto piccolo ma completo di tutto. Ogni giorno puliscono la stanza e a metà settimana cambiano la biancheria. Nel cucinino presente in stanza c'è il minimo indispensabile: un lavandino, due fuochi elettrici, un bollitore, il frigo (dove c'è anche la ghiacciaia quindi abbiamo congelato le bottigliette d'acqua per portarcele in spiaggia), alcune stoviglie come piatti, tazze, bicchieri, posate e pentole. In stanza c'è l'aria condizionata e nella bella piscina di proprietà di Philippos ci sono le cassette di sicurezza numerate di cui vi lascerà le chiavi. Abbiamo passato una splendida vacanza, anche grazie alla splendida accoglienza riservataci qui.

Vacanza dal 10 al 17 giugno. Avevo richiesto un letto matrimoniale ed ho avuto due letti uniti con lenzuola singole: costa così tanto in più un lenzuolo matrimoniale visto che ho pagato per 1 camera matrimoniale? Occorre attrezzarsi contro le zanzare o tenere sempre chiuso la porta finestra per evitare l'infestazione. Sostituzione lenzuola e asciugamani ogni 3 giorni. Detto ciò devo dire che puliscono effettivamente ogni giorno, la piscina è carina, il mare è di fronte, il centro è a 2 passi ed il proprietario si adegua a parlare più lingue. Vorrei consigliare a philippo, per salire di livello, di cambiare ogni giorno le asciugamani, di mettere le zanzariere e magari di mettere lenzuola matrimoniali su 2 letti singoli se richiesto.

Mysigt hotell

Jätte mysigt hotell med mycket trevlig personal. Det enda minuset var att de tog ut en extrakostnad för air condition som i specifikationen skulle ingå. Se även upp med myggen, som har drabbat hela regionen.
