Think twice

If you like to eat in busy school cafeteria, drink poor cocktails, enjoy screaming kids and sun burnt turistis that reserve the sun beds with their towel from dawn till dusk this is a place for you. Otherwise I recommend to stay away. The whole hotel atmosphere was like a jungle and no peaceful luxury what you might expect from the pictures. Never again.

Arkadaslara yaptigimiz seyahatte fiÿat/fayda acisindan baktigimuzfa otelin bu kadar guzel olacagini tahmin etmemistik. Oda genisligi temuzligi kahvaltinin guzellegi personel hersey cok guzeldi. Tek eksi denebilecek (merkeze old kos) biraz uzak.

Vi hade en väldigt bra upplevelse på Apollon Hotel. Våra förväntningar möttes där vi framför allt tyckte att hotellet var väldigt prisvärt.

Decent place, you get what you paid foR

Decent place, you get what you paid for. The place is about 20 minutes from the city center and 15 minutes from the beach (which I didn’t really like, there are much better beaches so do consider in front). I was really shocked to find out that I have to pay for a safe in internet in the room (per day per device!!). Again, it’s cheap and the additional cost is no substantial, however it was annoying (for me).

Really enjoyable stay

We loved our stay here! Had an iffy first night in the Apollon, the bathroom was dated and we struggled to get hot water.. we asked to upgrade using the Hotels.com offer, but the Apollon was not a participating hotel, but the receptionist showed us a new room that we chose not to accept. But we grew to love our room and the hotel, and didnt have anymore hot water issues.. The pool area is lovely, and looks beautiful when lit up in the evening, the hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained. The food is your expected all inclusive but caters well for all. Im a veggie. Due to covid, we did experience long lines in the restaurant as the wait staff were walking around with each individual dishing up.. this was obviously to stop hundreds of hands touching all of the utensils so we felt it was an acceptable precaution.. BUT the hotel changed its approach and began handing out disposable Gloves at the reataurant entrance.. after that there were no more queues. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Apollon and would definitely go back.

Prima maar niet nog een keer

Hotel is prima en leuk maar niet je van het. Personeel is wel heel erg aardig. Wij hadden n nieuwe kamer en die was gewoon goed maar onze vrienden hadden n oude kamer en dat was toch eigenlijk echt niet te doen. Slecht bed, slecht licht en slechte douche en zelfs heel veel kapotte dingen. Maar we hebben met zn alle n leuke tijd gehad.

Fantastic value

Great, clean hotel. Beds could be comfier but other than that everything else was fine. Hotel grounds nice and well kept and for the amount of flowers I never saw any beasties. About a 10 minute walk to nearest beach with loungers and 30 mins into centre and marina, although everyone just hires bikes and cycles there. Not a lot of choice in the all inclusive food but edible. Overall great hotel for price and would go again.

Fijn vriendelijk hotel

Vriendelijk personeel, het eten is gevarieeerd en wordt perfect bijgevuld. De kamer was netjes en groot. Goed temlopen naar Kos stad en anders zijn er ook voor weinig fietsen te huren. Voor ons een echte aanrader dit hotel. Een minpunt is dat er helaas nog steeds veel mensen roken en dit gewoon bij het zwembad en op terras gebeurd. Jammer genoeg is hiervoor in dit hotel nog geen aparte ruimte voor ingepland.

Nice hotel for relaxing holidays

Really lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff available at all times. Not too far from the beach, although this was a little disappointing as not sandy. Very nice pool. Buffet style meals of good quality although fairly similar every day. We had a very relaxing trip.

Τα δωμάτια δεν καθαρίζονταν παρά μόνο όταν το ζητήσαμε. Πετσέτες και σαπούνια δεν υπήρχαν παρά μόνο όταν το ζητήσαμε. Το ψυγείο δεν δούλευε. Γενικά υπηρεσίες ξενοδοχείου κατώτερες των προσδοκιών για 4 αστέρια.

Vacanza a Kos.

Due settimane di vacanza a Kos nella prima metà di Luglio; sole, mare e relax conditi da qualche escursione. L'albergo è carino e in buona posizione; le ragazze alla reception sono gentilissime e disponibili, come buona parte del personale. Ci sono diverse tipologie di camere e mini appartamenti in varie palazzine intorno alla piscina. E' disponibile un noleggio biciclette. La camera era grande e nel complesso pulita (anche se le pulizie giornaliere non erano perfette, lasciando sabbia e polvere - o capelli e peli in bagno - dai giorni precedenti). Era però molto calda, tanto da richiedere l'uso dell'AC anche di notte, e molto, molto rumorosa! Si sente qualsiasi cosa sia nel corridoio (passi, porte aperte e richiuse, ...) che nelle camere vicine (TV, doccie, ...) e perfino dalla hall se c'è qualche evento lì (musica, partite di calcio, ...). Un'ultima nota negativa: i prezzi del bar dell'albergo erano ingiustificabilmente alti, del tutto sproporzionati rispetto ai servizi ricevuti!

Servizio reception ottima ma staff non omogeneo

Abbiamo passato 3 notti all'Apollon, la prima notte ci è stata assegnata una camera definita come una delle più carine del complesso.. In breve aveva diversi problemi (TV antiquata e telecomando in 3 pezzi, stendino esterno non abbastanza distante dalla macchina del condizionatore arrugginito, balcone comunicante con tutte le stanze adiacenti ecc. Ecc), tuttavia dopo aver fatto presente ciò alla reception Poppy, una persona deliziosa ha provveduto a farci visionare una camera superior decisamente migliore e molto più confortevole, unica pecca una puzza da togliere il respiro dagli scarichi, anche questo inconveniente però è stato velocemente risolto. Il cibo è buono, variegato ed anche per quanto possibile tipico, la formula All inclusive è comoda ma presenta delle pecche, gli snacks ad esempio alle 16 del pomeriggio erano terminati ed una cameriera bionda del bar esterno non è stata per nulla gentile ad informarci del termine di questi.. La stessa che alle 23,20 (orario oltre il quale i soft drink si pagano) ha rifiutato di dare un bicchiere d'acqua suggerendo piuttosto di acquistarla... Ecco queste cose sono davvero sgradevoli. La Reception di contro è di una cortesia ed attenzione impareggiabile.

Soggiorno in mezza pensione a Kos

Ho soggiornato per 7 giorni in questo hotel a pochi minuti da Kos town. Ho trovato la struttura molto carina , ben curata , personale molto gentile . Il buffet a colazione è ricco : uova sode ,crepes , yogurt greco , cornetti , frutta . marmellate , cereali , caffè, latte. Per la cena si va dalla carne al pesce , con abbondanti insalate, contorni , formaggi , feta e buoni i dolci. Piccola nota è il Wi-Fi che non va velocissimo e si disconnette .Hotel consigliatissimo comunque!!!!

We enjoyed are stay. Hotel is slightly dated but overall this a friendly hotel with good amenities. Only down side was ancient televisions in rooms and very uncomfortable bed mattresses.
