Villa Hera offersspacious rooms with a large terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. The glass-walled living areas create the sensation of being immersed in nature, while the beautiful pool, shaded gazebo, and generous sun deck provide the perfect setting for relaxation.
The villa is located right by the sea on an 800 m² private plot. Surrounded by a stone wall and iron fence, it offers complete privacy. Within the gated area, there’s a covered parking space for two cars, and an additional uncovered space for one more.
Inside, the villa features four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and sea views from every room. Two main bedrooms open onto a large terrace with stunning sea views.
The living space includes a comfortable lounge, dining area, modern kitchen, workroom, and a separate guest WC. From the living room, you can step out onto a spacious covered terrace with a dining table – ideal for al fresco meals with a view.
The recreation area sits next to the poolside terrace, and includes a billiards table, fitness equipment, comfortable seating, and a bathroom with WC. Just beside the pool, you’ll find a lovely shaded gazebo with a sitting area. The sunbathing area around the pool is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.
From the villa, a private path leads directly to the sea, ending at a seaside sunbathing platform – your own tranquil corner by the water.
The hosts are available to guests 24 hours a day, offering airport transfer from Dubrovnik Airport for an additional charge and a grocery shopping service for an extra fee of 15 Euros per trip.
Rasoha Velika Bay is located in the center of Korčula Island. Korčula is an island in southern Dalmatia, stretching 46 km in length with a coastline of 182 km and numerous bays. With a population of around 16,000, it is the second largest island in the Adriatic. The island enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate with an average of over 2,700 hours of sunshine per year, making it the sunniest region in Croatia. This means you can enjoy beautiful weather and warm sea almost all year round. The average summer temperature is 29°C, and the sea temperature reaches 27°C. Korčula is also one of the most densely forested islands in the Adriatic.
The town of Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean, surrounded by city walls dating back to the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries, built around the old town. The town was founded in the 10th century (by Constantine Porphyrogenitus). The precision of its urban planning, along with the walls and towers, is unique in the Mediterranean region. The famous seafarer and merchant Marco Polo was born in Korčula in 1254. The town features many historic landmarks such as the cathedral, city walls with towers, town hall, Marco Polo's birthplace, and more.
Vela Luka is the largest town on the island, located 15 km from the villa (Rasoha Velika Bay). The town offers many shops, a shopping center, a marina, and numerous restaurants with a rich selection of Mediterranean specialties and locally produced wines, which are renowned worldwide. During summer, Vela Luka hosts numerous cultural and entertainment events. On the hill above Vela Luka lies Vela Spila, a well-known archaeological site from the Stone Age, with many findings exhibited in the local museum.
Blato is the nearest village, located 9 km from Rasoha Velika, known for its rich history and architecture. It is also home to the Shrine of Saint Mary of Jesus.
