This hotel is great for being a home base while in Reykjavik. There’s nothing much in the area, but the breakfast was fine and we were out most of the day anyways.

I wasn't impresed with the attitude of the girl at the front desk. We are returning clients and asked if we could store some of our luggage. She offered an outrageous nightly rental rate of 7,000 icelandic dollars and this was half the actually cost for us to stay per night. We are a young family and would have apprecaited a more reasonable offer. Money grab and really bad attitude.

The installations are good, although it is noisy, because you can hear a lot of other doors when close, and people talking on the hallway. Breakfast is average. Price is kind of High for what you get. People are kind.

The room has a musty smell, the bed was so uncomfortable, there was no fridge. Its just a very basic hotel. Thereare better hotels in iceland

Room was unclean and when it was brought to managers attention, she refused to believe me instead almost indirectly started accusing me that I am intentionally trying to raise issue and asking for refund.

The hotel is bare bones a bit higher than a youth hostel. The breakfast was all cold stuff. The place was loaded with youth and we saw one person sleeping in the hall

Extemely uncooperative manager, couldn't change my booking 1 hour after i made it. When the coffee machine at breakfast didn't work it's not allowed to use the same machine in the lobby and you have to pay for breakfast dirty rooms, small gym, uncomfortable beds, bad breakfast

Im Icelandic and i travel to Reykjavik regular. This hotel is on nice location and have the comfort that i need. Good bed and good shower the wifi might be better. I have probably stayed in this hotel around 30-40 times

1 night stay was great!
We stayed here for our first night in Iceland. We arrived earlier than check in time but he let us check in right away. It was smooth and easy. The elevator wasn't working so we had to carry our luggage to the first floor (downstairs). They had the sofa bed made and ready to go, which was appreciated. It also had a coat hook with about 5-6 hooks which was also appreciated. The room was large with lots of storage if needed. The elevator was fixed in the morning! We didn't eat the breakfast. I think it was 30 euros so we went and found something else. Good location and easy to get to.

Everything was great except the breakfast. There were very few cold options and that was it. The breakfast room is big and the staff were nice, but there was nothing to eat really.

Never again. There is parking but if like us, you arrive later as we were exploring Reykjavik there will be none nearby. Very limited places to eat nearby so recommend eating before you arrive, supermarket should drive away also. Photos are inaccurate so don’t expect this on arrival. Lady that checked us in very rude and not helpful. We had an early morning flight the next day so I requested a breakfast box to take with us (as advertised in Expedia photos) and was given a stern “no that’s an old photo”. Coffee machine in reception broken, when working payable! Room tiny, dirty, marks all over the wall, tv not working, they provide a kettle but no cups/tea/coffee/spoons etc!! Bedsheets bobbly and bed uncomfortable. Considering this is meant to be a VIP access property we were left very disappointed. It wasn’t cheap but I’d wished we paid a bit more to stay central. I have contacted Expedia to complain also as they don’t deserve this status.

We checked in with friends haveing booked 4 rooms. Desk clerk was very rude. Made no effort to request for rooms with Queen bed, or to accommodate us on same floor, One room was right next to elevator with continuous noise. Refused to relocate onto another room. Since you had reserved a twin room, at that time, we couldn't change to a double room since most of the rooms had been checked in. We offered to change the bed allocation to your wish, but you refused.We are sorry that you didnt appreciate the fact that we have changed the other three rooms closer together.

The room and bathroom are large- enough space for multiple adults. The room we were given was on the first/basement floor. It had a gym smell and halls were dingy and not inviting. Basic breakfast provided. Restaurants nearby were not good, have to drive to Reykjavik for good food. Bar/common area is nice.
