Fernie Stanford Resort

Fernie Stanford Resort

8/10 Good
"The hotel and our jacuzzi king bed room was beautiful and very clean. Behind the hotel is the river which was a gorgeous view and easily accessible and there were great mountain views from the front as well. Great location, the highway was quiet in our 3rd floor room and the blinds did a great 'blackout' job. The Riverview restaurant inside the hotel is absolutely delicious! I had the lamb shanks and my husband had the Ribeye, best we've had in a long time! Only critique is they didnt have a vending machine or ice machine on our floor. Would stay again hands down!"

"We liked the room as it was clean and has new amenities. The only exception was a noisy air conditioner that didn't cool the room until the middle of the night. The hallway carpets could use a cleaning. We had a good breakfast in the restaurant. Did not use any other amenities."

Three Valley Lake Chateau

Three Valley Lake Chateau

8/10 Good
"We returned to stayed for one night after stopping on a day trip a few weeks earlier. The museum is HUGE and is not a quick excursion if you truly want to enjoy seeing all that is there. Our room was very clean and quiet. The lodge is also HUGE with so many rooms and common areas. It is definitely an older property, but very well maintained. Some of the gardens on the lake side seemed unkept, but then it might have been due to the drought conditions this summer and wanting to conserve water. The restaurant had a simple, but diverse menu. The staff were friendly the portions were good & the prices fare. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back again in the next year of two."

"The Swiss Village is a small, well maintained hotel. The room was spotless and the beds were cozy. A big plus is that it is located more than a block away from the busy highway."
