Helping hand

Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Both at 2 am when we got in (James, vacuuming and bringing us the luggage cart), and at 11 am when we left (woman shared history of the city and trains from Fort Wayne to Logansport parks and carousel).

If you’re passing through and you need a place to lay your head and you don’t want to spend a whole Lotta money because all you’re doing is taking a shower and sleeping. This is the perfect spot. I was passing through on my motorcycle and that’s exactly what I needed and it was perfect.

The service was excellent but the heater didn’t work, it just blew out cold air, the clock in the room did not work. The stopper for the tub did not work.

Lovely staff but the magnitude of problems persist

Difficult time with this property. While the front desk staff Lorraine and additional staff person Morgan were delightful, the problems inherit at this hotel are beyond their means of solving. Toilet in the bathroom did not flush. Cobwebs in all the corners of the room - old cobwebs like you'd find in a haunted house. Carpeting is filty. Bathroom is rusty. Sink did not drain. You can hear every single car in the parking lot starting up as if they were inside of your room. Doors to the stairwell can be heard very clearly, as well as other room doors, steps in the hallway, conversations - you will not be sleeping if others are staying the night.

The property was not horrible, we were just not aware before arriving of construction. You couldn't get near the walls without getting white dust on your clothes, floors had lots of iffy spots when you walk, plus the restaurant advertised on their page is no longer open!!!
