Surt personale og lidt støj

Vi ankom til hostellet, og får udleveret det forkerte værelse. Vi havde bestilt et basic men fik et standard. Vi gik selvfølgelig til receptionen, som prøvede at bilde os ind, at værelserne var det samme, fordi de begge havde fælles badeværelse. Værelserne er langt fra ens, betydelig forskel. Eneste der var ens var badeværelset. Men efter lidt diskussion fik vi vores bestilte værelse. Alt efter var helt fint, toiletterne ku godt bruge en ekstra rengøring. Og værelserne lå lige ud til et par barer som spillede højt musik ud til natten. Vi kom igennem natten med ørepropper.

Interesting stay

Enjoyable hotel in a good location. The only complaint was a rooster waking us up at 6am which, given what can be described as a rather large hangover was not appreciated. Bring noise cancelling headphones.

Gut: Sehr schöner Pool, den wir zudem fast für uns alleine hatten. Schöner Strand. Am Strand war jeden Abend eine Feuershow. Schlecht: Die Hotelhandtücher waren teilweise schmutzig und hatten Löcher. Sehr aufdringliche Taxibootfahrer am Strand.

Only stay here if desperate

The photos from the hotel are totally misleading. All of the rooms come off one long dingy corridor which is very dark during the day. Our room description said "mountain view"....well there were certainly some mountains in the distance but not before a huge bundle of electricity wires running right underneath our balcony and a large area of scrubby sandy land full of old chairs and rubbish. The walls all looked dirty, especially the one behind the bed where years worth of guests have sat up against it. The worst thing was that my pillow absolutely stank of stale sweat and I had to put a t-shirt over it in order to sleep....reception isn't 24hours so there was nobody I could have asked about getting it changed. Overall, a very depressing nights accommodation and absolutely not worth the price.

Convenient and cheap hotel

We chose this hotel because of very convenient location. The location was indeed great with small shops, bars, restaurants to watch the sunset, ticket offices etc close by. The hotel was however quite disappointing. Room was old, not very clean, stains on the walls and linen. Electricity was off from time to time and no hot shower. If you come only for few nights it's totally ok. You can also use Lotus Resorts two pools and rent a bike and explore island.

Hôtel correct pour son prix chambre un peu loin du wifi donc impossible de se connecter. Staff assez agréable, cet hôtel est une chaine d'hôtel qui comprend 5 établissements de plus ou moins haut de gamme le moutain est l'établissement bas de gamme parfait pour backpacker (avec la traditionnelle douche froide thaï)

God placering og basale faciliteter

Værelsets størrelse var fin og internettet virkede upåklageligt. Badeværelset var ikke lækkert, og receptionisten lå ofte og sov når man kom gående, men vi havde et ok ophold, og det er ikke det værste sted vi har overnattet på Koh Tao. Placeringen er i øvrigt super og ligger kun få minutters gang fra stranden med flere gode spise steder lige i nærheden.

Good basic accommodation

Basic good accommodation, able to access 2 resort pools. Just be sure to put the sign on the door when you want your room cleaned. Wifi not so strong, and only accessible in the lobby. No air con, but there's a fan. Bed was comfortable, and it has a small balcony. Good room size. I would go back.

Nej tack.

Den värsta natten någonsin! Vi hade endast en fläkt i taket som lät så man höll på att bli tokig, stenhårda sängar och tanken var att man ska sova med en fleecefilt, vi skulle bo där i sju dagar men vi pratade med personalen så vi kunde uppgradera oss till ett rum med AC. Personalen var jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma.

When we booked this hotel it was advertised as having breakfast included. Not the case. I have emailed hotels.com three times with no response to this matter as the hotel said that it was a problem with their website advertising incorrect information. As a traveller on a tight budget this meant spending additional on breakfast each day, not ideal. The hotel room was ok, we had a fan room and it was extremely hot. Cold showers also. The best thing about the hotel is that it is close to the bars and restaurants and they have two pools with one of them being quiet and very clean.
