"Since the floors of the hotel are situated on floors 26-30, most rooms have a great view. The theme is 19th century English I believe so it’s quite unique in that manner. I would opt for the breakfast buffet as it’s large and covers both western and Japanese cuisines."

"Great location! Free breakfast is actually not bad. Only had it once during my 3 day stay, but it helps to start your day. Room is small, which is normal for Japanese hotels. Beds are hard and stiff, so if it’s a dealbreaker for you, I recommend looking somewhere else. Lobby is always busy, as they bring tourists from China everyday by bus "

"The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was positioned perfectly between 2 main stations and had plenty of choices to eat. The room itself was fine, small as our most in Japanese cities but perfect for a solo traveler "

"I had a great stay at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto. The room was really spacious and I was kindly given an upgrade by reception, which was a lovely touch. The bakery in the lobby was fantastic as well – perfect for a relaxed breakfast and great coffee. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d happily return."
