Independent in Ko Chang

"Excellent helpful, friendly staff; fantastic generous omlette, had to be at least 3 eggs. Great coffee. Tried a few smoothies that weren’t actually smoothies; no yogurt or milk; they were ice slushies for $3.00 usd; not good. That was the only negative in the dining area. The cook doubled as housekeeper and did a great job; her husband took us to the airport. Great service. The room was huge, great bed, bath, shower etc. A really big negative I never saw mentioned was our room bordered a private tutoring school that operated from 10am-6pm M-Sa. The teachers talking in a loud commanding voice was one thing but the students were encouraged to scream; it was way past annoying and well into disturbing and unacceptable. I questioned management and she laughed and said she was as surprised by it as I was and did nothing. Room facing street, balcony, 2nd floor, Right side facing out; AVOID. "

"Cute place with lots of yummy food and places to walk nearby. The restaurant for the hotel is awesome and very delicious. I love this area, and the Farmhouse is a great place to stay."

"We just stayed for a night, we used this hotel to take a break from our long journey. We had a big, comfortable and clean room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are shops, restaurants, and bars near by. The breakfas is included and has a variety of dishes. The Hotel has a nice big pool. The only issue we found was that there was an odd odor coming from the pool area, like something rotten. Overall is a good place to stay."

"Great place right on the beach. The tents are hotter than bungalows in my experience, despite having fans, because there is no draft. Not all tents have hammocks, but there are hammocks in front of the restaurant that you can use. Very friendly staff and tasty food at the restaurant!"

"Avoid this place unless you have your own transportation. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere, and there are no ride options in this city no joke. There is one driver for Bolt, but he only works evenings, NO Grab at present. Owner was very much less than helpful in explaining this to us. Therefore, the poor review, even though the place is OK, but not the cleanest at all."
