Absolutely beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay with a comfy bed and an incredible view over the bay. Both the hosts were so nice and helpful and we both really enjoyed chatting to them over an amazing breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

A superb guest house in a good area. Kevin our host was very helpful, paid a lot of attention to details and serves a good breakfast. The views from the rooms over the estuary were lovely.

Lovely property, but I think the host (Kevin) makes it. He's absolutely awesome, made us feel so at home. Would highly recommend, location has lovely views, we may consider one of the islands to stay on in future, but would still absolutely recommend this place!

Wonderful time in Knysna

We spent an absolutely wonderful time in the Roseroc guesthouse. The property is tastefully decorated, the breakfast is very tasty. Kevin is a great host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. This is definitely a place to stay at while visiting Knysna.

We stayed in many Hotels while travelling along the garden route. This guesthouse was by far the best! The view is awesome, the rooms are beautiful, best breakfast and especially Kevin the host is the best host you can have. It was a pleasure to stay here.

A Great Place to Stay in Kynsna

Kevin is an attentive host. The accommodation is well presented and very comfortable. The accommodation has fabulous views and is convenient for all the amenities in Kynsna. Kevin was particularly helpful in informing us of good local and attractions. We would happily stay there again.

Kevin is an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and clean with amazing views throughout. Good sized pool and sunbathing area. Walkable to waterfront or only a few minutes short drive/taxi. We would definitely stay again

An absolute Rose of a place amongst many thorns

Such a pleasant location in a beautiful place we’d go back in a heartbeat. Everything about Roseroc was fantastic. Kevin was a wonderful host and throughout our stay we had excellent service, whether that was the lovely touches in the evening of port and chocolates, or advice about places to go and restaurant recommendations or the fabulous breakfasts, we had a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much hassle, the hotel is closely located to everything you’ll need and it just made for a very relaxing stay.

A fantastic accommodation with such a lovely host. The view from the house is amazing and the host is so sweet - giving a lot of advice on what to do, what to eat etc. Every evening we got a small evening snack and on Easter also an Easter chocolate at breakfast. About a km from centrum in an area that felt super safe walking around in.

It was a very quiet period and we had good service from the management however we had a long period without any water whatsoever and had to ask for bottled water. It’s a very conveniently positioned property within easy reach of all amenities. Breakfast was very good, perhaps a fridge in the room could help

We booked Roseroc for one night at the last minute based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed. Kevin, our genial host is a mine of information. He suggested a great restaurant you could walk to although we drove and other interesting things to do.The breakfast was fantastic. We recommend the "Roseroc" poached egg. I will try to recreate this at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Roseroc. I'm not sure quite how my wife found this little gem nestled away but she must be amazing too.

We have just spent 2 nights at Roseroc. We had a lovely room with balcony over looking gardens and super views of the lagoon. Kevin was a great host and most helpful in restaurant and things to do recommendations. The breakfast was very good. The ‘Roseroc poached eggs were divine’. The was a glass of port and little shortbread biscuit waiting for us on return from our dinner, a lovely end to the evenings. The guest house is walkable to the waterfront but we got Ubers back with no problem. We would return again if back in SA.

Kevin and Cornell were the perfect hosts. Room was great as was the bed. Each evening we came back to a glass of port and some fruit…lovely touch.
