Highly recommend

View from the ‘Elephant room’ is stunning and the furnishings are as pictured in the photos- beautiful. Breakfast is fantastic and the hotel manager was one of the most welcoming and helpful we’ve ever experienced. The location is a bit distant from restaurants and commercial areas, but that contributes to its peaceful charm.

Overall it’s was good stay

The view at this property is unreal! It’s definitely the best part of the stay. The house itself is kinda old. Due to the load shedding there is no lights in those hours, only Wi-Fi works. You hear noises from other rooms and lobby.

Wenn Knysna dann nur Headlands

Wenn Knysna dann nur Headlands. Die Insel & die Lagune ist einfach nur für Großeltern. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Das Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Ozean und auf die Lagune war ein echter Hammer. Wunderschöner, aber wilder Strand ganz unten in der Bucht. Anderseits: man sollte nicht die modernste Ausstattung erwarten. Das Haus ist bereits ein paar Jahre alt. Trotzdem eine der besten Unterkünfte vor Ort!

Einzigartige Ausblicke, insbesondere vom Coney Glen Room, sowohl auf den indischen Ozean als auch auf die Lagune von Knysna. Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, das einen, bei Bedarf, mit guten Ratschlägen und Restauranttips versorgt. Es gibt überall im Haus ein stabiles WLAN, was ja heutzutage immer wichtiger wird. Das Frühstück ist sehr sehr gut und frisch zubereitet, der Kaffee wird jedem Tisch in einer French-Press Maschine serviert. Die Auswahl des Buffets ist mehr als ausreichend.

Besonders schönes B&B mit Traumblick

Ein liebevoll geführtes, sehr persönliches Bed&Breakfast. Da wir die einzigen Gäste im Haus waren, kam das Gefühl auf, in ener eigenen Villa mit Personal zu sein. Abends sitzt man gemütlich am Kamin und genießt den herrlichen Blick von den Heads.

Schöne, ruhige Lodge oben auf den Heads

Wie der Name bereits verspricht, befindet sich diese ruhige, schöne Villa oben auf den Heads Knysnas. Die unschlagbare Aussicht und das wahnsinnig nette Personal haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem wahren Highlight unserer Reise gemacht! Das Zimmer war komfortabel, das Bad angenehm groß, genau wie der Balkon. Das Haus an sich liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Straße, auch die anderen Hotelgäste haben wir nur beim Frühstück im Aufenthaltsraum im unteren Geschoss gesehen oder gehört. Mit Auto kann man von hier schöne Trips auf die Inseln nach unten machen - oder zu Fuß zum Strand laufen, man muss schließlich nur den Berg herunterlaufen! :-)

Great Views, friendly staff.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We only gave them notice about my friends dietary requiremenrs when we checked in late afternoon and they went out of their way to have options available the next morning for breakfast. The view from the bedroom and lounge where breakfast is served was amazing.

Lovely and Cozy Stay

Beautiful, with the most wonderful and helpful staff. Their muesli is homemade and absolutely lovely. The view is stunning and the rooms are cozy and nice. A perfect place to call home for a few nights!

It's a easy walk down to the public beach. We enjoyed watching the violent surf smash against the rocks.

We had a wonderful stay in Knysna. We enjoyed our hike in Robberg National Reserve. One evening the hotel arrange a free shuttle pick up to take us to a restaurant. That was great!

Muito bom!

Linda pousada com uma vista extasiante do mar que banha Knysna. Quarto bem decorado e confortável com amplo terraço que convida a um vinho a dois no final da tarde desse belo lugar. Deixo elogios à gerente e à gerente-assistente, ambas muito atenciosas. E uma dica aos viajantes dorminhocos: o café da manhã vai somente até 9:30. Em um golpe de sorte, perdemos o café da pousada no primeiro dia e tivemos que procurar outro lugar para o desjejum. Descobrimos o East Head Cafe nas proximidades, em frente à laguna: oferece comida deliciosa em um cenário de cinema.

Super Frühstück mit überragender Aussicht

Eine sehr freundlichen Begrüßung, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, ein hervorragendes Frühstück wurden nur noch von der fantastischen Aussicht getoppt. Das Frühstück war lecker und am Bufett war für jeden etwas dabei. Z.B. Frisch zubereitete Eiervariationen mit leckeren Tomaten und Pilzen. Wenn wir wieder nach Knysna kommen, dann kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei.
