"I recently stayed at the Ahl Marketzeen Hotel, and it is truly a mixed bag. ​The Best Part: The location is unbeatable. It is right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to walk to most major attractions and local shops. If being central is your top priority, this is a solid choice. ​The Downside: The building itself is quite old and feels outdated. You can tell it hasn't been renovated in a while—the decor is a bit tired, and the facilities are showing significant signs of wear and tear. ​Summary: If you just need a place to crash in a central spot and don't mind a vintage (or slightly worn) atmosphere, it’s fine. However, if you are looking for modern comforts, you might want to look elsewhere."

"Upon check in, there was a line out the door. With only one person attempting to check people in, deal with room keys that were not working and providing other support, the line moved slowly. They did have a self check option, but info from Hotels.com wouldn't work. Once getting to the room, it was sparce with the very bare essentials. Then came the noise, coming from outside, inside hallways and an elevator that was next to my room. Breakfast was meh.. For over $275/night.. not what I expected."

"Tried to check in at 12.30pm and were told we couldn't access our rooms until 3pm. Which is super frustrating and there wasn't even any sense of empathy or apology for it. Front desk staff were very very slow at the check in process. Front desk staff on other occasions had no urgency despite there being a queue. Why don't they act more quickly, they are on "go slow" mode? Bar staff were very nice and much more efficient. Room was nice, although no iron and ironing board. For s 4 star hotel the water should be refreshed daily. Price of the mini market on ground floor was disgraceful - €4+ for a small bottle of water. Hotel was in a fantastic location. Lobby area is nicely setup for relaxing and drinks. Did not appreciate a knock on my door from housekeeping team at 8.30am on Sunday. Who does this?! Would not return to the hotel I am afraid due to the numerous issues above."

"Such a relaxed stay. All the staff were so helpful and friendly - reception, breakfast, housekeeping. Our flight was cancelled and the hotel gave us the same rooms for an extra night without any fuss."
