I had book this location for a vacation stop. I booked the worng date but we were accommodated and the other booking was canceled. The little restaurant they had was nice since they are in the middle of nowhere. The lady at the checking was very pleasant. The property was older and I booked a cabin and got a RV instead but that was my fault and it was like camping and very do able.

If I could give this 6 stars I would. Room was fine but when I left my room a black cat and her 4 kittens charged at me demanding pets. Never had a better experience at any logging, highly recommend.

Lacking in room preparedness.
This was very disappointing, checked into the office and received my room key, went to the room to find it hadn't been cleaned and someone else's belongings were still in the room. How does this happen? Apparently they don't check to make sure rooms are clean and ready prior to marking them as available. While they did go remove the stuff and clean the room after a long day I was made to wait in my car while they removed the stuff and cleaned the room. Very unprofessional and less than a great experience. Other than that the room was satisfactory for a one night stay. Nice lake and surroundings.

The cabin was very nice and perfect for our needs. The space was clean and comfortable. The resort was great and I loved that they had a generously stocked store and that they offered kayak and canoe rentals.

We stayed here as an base for a trip to Crater Lake. Though not the closest option (about 45 min to the South/Mazama Village entrance), we’re so, so happy to have stayed here. We stayed in one of the inn rooms- it was cozy and clean, the bed was super comfortable, there was a porch area to sit out on, and a restaurant on site open til 8 with amazing views for the sunset. After a long day of hiking, we were able to come back here to see the Milky Way over the lake and it was just the nicest place to come back to. Checkin was convenient and easy and it was so quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.

The manager was very rude. TV was not working. They didn't provide me with the wifi password. Hotel was very far the civilization. Not restaurants nearby. They have no clue how to work with Expedia. They charged me twince and they are not willing to give a refund. Stay away from this property.

Nice comforter, memory foam bed was comfy, nice pictures and decor, good bathroom, good small fridge & microwave, fan. Need instruction sheet for the TV. Floor of the room needed to be cleaner. Great little cabin, tight squeeze for 4 people.
We really enjoyed our time there. We rented a small cabin for a family of 4 and used it as our home base as we traveled into & explored Crater Lake National Park. The on-site store & restaurant were great, and the staff was very helpful. The only reason I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because although the cabin slept 4 people, there were only enough dishes / plates to feed 3 people, and only enough towels to bathe 2 people. It certainly would have been a more pleasant experience if it had only been 2 people staying there. Also, I didn't see anywhere on Hotels.com or Rocky Point Resorts' website that it mentioned boat rentals. They rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, & motorboats, hourly. Not knowing this, we rented through a different company offsite & the prices were much higher.

If you are staying in the guest rooms warning that you will not have a view of the lake!! It's covered with RVs! I tried contacting the property more then 5x in 2 days before I finally got someone. The folks I talked with were nice. My husband and I were traveling to Crater Lake and we were a late check in. They told us the room would be open light would be on and key was in the room. When we got there the door was opened ver so slightly no lights were on and no key.. they told me it was room B. At this time it was almost midnight and we were exhausted that we just went to bed. I'm going to break it down by negative and positive I'll start with positive Positive: The store staff and the restaurant was very nice! The store clerk, older gentlemen even gave me some good areas to visit around. Very quiet during quiet hours very respectful Bed was comfy Area was cute and tucked away Close enough to Crater Lake. Negative: Room lacks a lot of things. Very small/crowded which made it hard to move around. Shower was so low even i who's 5"3 was having a hard time. Pillows were so uncomfortable No one has dusted that place in forever!! The floors were dirty the only fan that they had was covered in dust but we had no choice but to use it since there was no other fan and it was super hot! Do not try the trout with blueberry chutney idk why anyone thought that was a good combination idea but my husband wanted to try it since it was the catch of the day!

A beautiful little oasis. Staff was friendly and helpful. They made it easy to rent a canoe and have a lovely little lake adventure. I highly recommend staying here! Bonus that it’s so close to Crater Lake!

Different seasons, different charm. In Spring, it's popular for bird watching, or just chilling by the water. As the weather warms up, many come for fishing. There are many ways to enjoy this facility, it's a calming place. Many like to meditate on the dock early in the morning and enjoy the glorious sunrise. Hope you come back again to enjoy the different scenery and activities in different season

Lovely location on Upper Klamath Lake, though the view to the lake from Cabin 1 has a large mobile home in it. We enjoyed being in the snow, but the Resort itself is not fully open (no restaurant or other services). Resident manager did not respond to my search for the Wifi password, but another guest was able to supply it. The Cabin itself is adequate, but rather sparsely supplied in the kitchen -- no way to put a lid on a pot, for example. Heating is OK, once you figure out that there are two separate controls. We stayed here because it was the closest to Crater Lake that we could find to stay at with a dog.
