Quirky hotel with a bit of history. Room was spacious but a bit worn. Hotel was a little noisy but not a problem. There was a pool, sauna and good facilities for families with children. Breakfast and dinner options were great and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly amongst the chaos. Location was great, lots to do in the area. A thoroughly decent stay but perhaps better for families with children rather than those travelling as a couple or solo.

Very nice and quiet place to be, specially with children. The whole staff is very friendly and is open for any needs and questions. It's a really old building but they made the best out of it. The choice of food at the dinner could be better for children (for example there where no french fries or "Spatzle" available at the buffet). The Taverna Bar isn't open every day but the staff at the restaurant compensates that.

The hotel was built on the site of an ancient castle and retains its medieval atmosphere. This gives the hotel a sort of magic and makes it beautiful both inside and out. The staff is very courteous and always available. The receptionists and restaurant waiters are always courteous and helpful. A special thanks goes to Giulia, who helped us with a problem we had on our last day. However, the interiors of the property are often dated and worn. The carpet in the room was old and sometimes dirty. The bathroom was spacious but definitely needed maintenance, such as flushing the sinks and removing unpleasant odors from the toilet bowl.

Beautiful hotel in a castle

A beautiful castle converted into a hotel in a beautiful small town. Lovely surroundings. Enough parking in and around. Everything is available within walkable distance. Inside the hotel is a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi pool + health center and sauna. Also, enough indoor activities to keep you busy if you wish to stay indoor. Food is great too and also a tavern right in the hotel.

The hotel has seen better day. While it is a nice building the rooms and facilities are in need for a thorough renovation. The food is average at best. In the three days we stayed at the hotel the evening buffet contained Wiener Schnitzel on two days. The vegetarian options are limited to pasta. The salat buffet is basic. Same is true for the breakfast.

Das Doppelzimmer fanden wir ink. Kleinkind sehr geräumig und ausreichend. Einziger Mangel war die mit Klostein befallene Toilettenschüssel, fing nach kurzem schon das müffeln an. An sonsten Top. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, allerdings größten Teils englisch und Italienisch sprachig. Wellnessbereich sehr schön und groß. Sauna & Schwimmbad herrlich Traumhaft. Vor allem Abend mit Beleuchtung . Temperatur vom Wasser und Umgebung könnte etwas wärmer sein. Und etwas mehr Beleuchtung wäre schön. Vor allem bei der Ritterburg in der Schwimmbadhalle. Das Frühstück fanden wir gut. Wenig auszusetzen. Abendessen abwechslungsreich ( wiederholt sich allerdings nach 7 Tagen wieder ) für alle was dabei, für groß und klein. Unser Kind hatte immer etwas gefunden . Hamburger HotDog. Spaghetti Pommes. Für Kinder herrlich. Temperatur und Würze leidet allerdings das ein und andere Mal. Beispiel Cremesuppen sehr wässrig. Gemüsegerichte weich und kaum Biss. Pommes kalt. Alles in allem ok, aber wenig Frische und Geschmack. Hier könnte man die Stellschraube nochmal ansetzen. Hotelgäste berichteten im Gespräch, sie wären besseres der letzten Jahre gewohnt. Lichtblick die Pinsa in der Taverne ein Traum . Yamii . Die männliche Kinderbetreuung sollte besser überwacht werden, kaum Interesse an Kinder. Nur am Handy und spricht kein Wort deutsch. Die Frau bei der Kinderbetreuung fanden wir dagegen super. Der Spielerraum ist trotzdem sehr schön und es gibt viele Spielsachen zum Unterhalten.

Die Zimmer an sich waren Sauber und es hat gepasst. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat an sich auch gepasst. Die Auswahl war ausreichend. Der Pool war toll und hat den Kindern auch sehr gefallen. Auch die Sauna kann ich empfehlen. Es ist drinnen alles etwas urig eingerichtet, aber ist ja auch ein Schlosshotel. Alles in Allem ein tolles Hotel mit toller Lage und freundlichem Personal. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

​Unsere zwei Zimmer (eins davon mit schönem Erker) waren sehr geräumig und gut in Schuss. Die Lage war ruhig, mit separater Toilette und Duschbad. ​Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Beim Abendessen (Buffet) gibt es noch etwas Luft nach oben – gut als bequeme Option, wenn man abends nicht mehr raus möchte. Positiv: Man kann sich bis mittags spontan dafür anmelden! Das Personal war super flink beim Abräumen und Nachfüllen. ​Für die Tiefgarage werden 10 € pro Nacht berechnet, was sich lohnt, da Außenparkplätze abends begehrt sind. ​Kleine Mängel im Wellnessbereich: Die Poolleiter war teilweise etwas locker und das Dampfbad um 17:00 Uhr noch nicht auf Temperatur. Dafür war der Pool angenehm beheizt! Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein tolles Angebot für jedes Alter (Kinderbespaßung, Fitness, Wellness). Bademäntel gibt es an der Rezeption, Badeschlappen sollte man selbst mitbringen (ein Schuhladen ist fußläufig erreichbar). ​Im Großen und Ganzen ein beeindruckender, historischer Schlosskomplex. Man merkt, dass das Team bemüht ist und die Historie des Hauses respektiert. ​Die Kinder waren happy, wir auch. Ein kleiner Tipp: Die digitalen Gästekarten (QR-Code) vom Hotel z.B. in der Infostation von Fieberbrunn um die "FamilyMoments" erweitern, dann geht es ab auf die Berge und in die Kletterparks! Wir ziehen es definitiv in Erwägung, wiederzukommen – die Region ist im Sommer einfach top. ​PS: Sehr gute Eisbecher gibt es direkt ums Eck am Kreisel! Lecker Essen bei Piets (neue Post)

Das Zimmer war sauber, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist allerdings in die Jahre gekommen, hier besteht unserer Meinung nach Handlungsbedarf. Die Location ansich in dem Schloss ist fantastisch, daher wäre es sicherlich absolut rentabel hier grundsätzlich zu renovieren.

Nettes Hotel, Zimmer sehr schön und großzügig, Personal sehr sehr nett und freundlich und sogar der deutschen Sprache mächtig! Allerdings überall im Hotel etwas Modernisierungsstau (unser Zimmer war aber bereits renoviert). Sauna bisschen sehr voll, waren aber auch in der Silvesterwoche dort! Beim Frühstück hat mir das frische Obst, ein paar Salate, etwas Fisch und die Abwechslung gefehlt.
