This is an incredibly charming, elegant old world hotel. The setting is glorious, within walking distance to the town of Kitzbühel and close to many fantastic trails for all levels of hiking. The breakfast buffet was varied and bountiful and the meal we had at the restaurant was wonderful. Because we had paid significantly more per night ($100) than the price listed on Expedia 3 days prior we received a room upgrade which was a lovely compensation but the difficulty in getting truthful, accurate information about the price match policy, to say nothing of the near impossibility of actually getting the price match is extremely frustrating.

This hotel is lovely as are the staff. Location for walking was ideal. Near the centre of Kitzbuhel but very very quiet. Very good food, particularly breakfast.

Everything you could ask for in an alpine village that happens to also be a great ski resort with wonderful people. The hotel team were equally spectacular- convivial, friendly, jovial, warm and yet professional. Very welcoming. Couldn’t have had a nicer stay. Food was excellent too.

Great traditional hotel with all the comforts.
Excellent hotel in every respect. The only downside is the location. It is too far to walk to the town, especially with ski boots. The shuttle is efficient enough but at night you will have to use taxis. Free minibar is a nice touch.

Very nice boquitie historical hotel
I on purpose prefer the hotel to stay due to its historical and regional artitecthure. I learnt that it is originally built as a weather station and located one of the highest points of Kitzbuhel. The room we stayed was lovely and of course rest of the hotel was protecting its original and very warm ambience. Personnel was very friendly and caring.

Wonderful stay for a ski trip
We had a wonderful stay at the Tennerhof. It has the cosiness of a true Austrian farmhouse and oozes understated elegance and genuine friendliness of the staff. Initially, I was disappointed that the Tennerhof was on the opposite side of the village making a transfer to the skilift necessary every day. However, its setting in a charming environment and the spectaclular views as well as the efficient shuttle service provided by the hotel soon made me glad I was staying there rather than in of of the anonymous hotels by the lift. Also, the spa and pool area were an added bonus especially the relaxation beds overlooking the Hahnenkamm. Stayed in a newly renovated room which was not large but very comfrotable with a lovely balcony overlooking Kitzbühel and the Hahnenkamm (room 29). Had dinner in the hotel as well as dinner in the Roemer Hof Stüberl and both were fantasitic. Expect Austrian hospitality, cosy fires, understated elegance and a truly magic setting. Loved it!

this is a great small boutique hotel. I've traveled all over the world, stayed at many large luxury hotels and the Tennerhof is quite different. it's a bit of small old world charm, in an older venue that was converted from a private residence into a quaint and luxurious hotel. from the warm welcome at the front desk reception, to the fresh cut roses and chocolates in my room upon arrival to the piano player at happy hour and the excellent breakfast and even better yet dinner served to me. The service was beyond excellent. I recommend this hotel very highly. I have only the best memories and will certainly look forward to returning someday.

Old school charme mit top Küche und Service
Old school charme! Auf den ersten Blick schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gepflegt. Aber der Service ist wirklich professsionell und top. Zimmer war sehr gemütlich, gutes Bett und sehr sauber. Lage am Hügel sehr schön, gute Aussicht und in der Nacht sehr sehr ruhig. Frühstücksbuffet ist Spitzenklasse und in dieser Qualität sehr selten geworden, viele lokale Produkte und sehr gut gekocht. Auch Dinner sehr zu empfehlen, alles auf hohem Niveau gekocht, ganz anders als "Hotelküche" sondern eine Freude jeden Abend. Der Service passt dazu, der Oberkellner ist top.
