Hotel with cabins

It was interesting to say the least. Retro 1970’s including the check in process and the key! I expected a hotel room and ended up with a cabin. It was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice owners and a unique stay. I’d stay there again.

Location near Portsmouth!

The lady at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and in good condition and the location very quiet. The room respecte the quality vs price.

Although the cabin came with a kitchenette it wasn’t really usable. The carpet was filthy - our feet were black. The location is nice.

Good Choice for Location and Price

Good budget room and excellent location. The fridge had a functioning freezer that came in handy. The bathroom was in very good condition as were the towels. The bed had two fluffy pillows and one thin one, the kind I like. Sue’s Seafood is an easy ten minute walk has has fabulous lobster or crab rolls!

The location is convenient to eateries, fueling and Kittery Outlet Mall-all within short driving distance. Northeaster's owners are gracious and welcoming, Housekeeping staff did a great job in keeping everything clean and neat. The only drawback is poor Internet connection. This is essential for folks like me, though others may prefer the sense of isolation.

You get what you pay for. A room to stay in. Everything was fine except no refrigerator in room. But a cooler with ice takes care of that.

Could have used more lighting. Over by the table and fridge was very dark. Also could have used a clock either hanging or on a side table. Curtains on the two doors could have been thicker for better privacy. Room was very clean, the gentleman I delt with was very friendly. Rates were affordable.

cute cabin

We rented a room and ended up in a beautiful little cabin it was clean and comfortable~ except under the kitchen cabinets where they were obviously proactively trying to remove mice. This was probably not the same issue in the hotel rooms ~ as I know mice can be a struggle in cabins. I would rent this same cabin again though and not go into the lower cabinets, the rest of the room was very clean.

It is cheap, but not worth it.

You get what you pay for. I tried a few motels on our trip to see the leaves and this place was awful. And for just under $100 it was not worth it. I think $30 would be a good price. It was super dirty with hair clumps on the sheets, huge spiders and webs in the corners and it just wasn't cleaned. There is a larger town across the river which we should have stayed at, but this place took the cake for the worst place I have stayed in. Just pass it up. The check in was simple, grab your key from the dark tiny office and return it in the box the next day.

It was okay here. The staff were nice but this was not the nicest place I've stayed in this price range. The mattress was REALLY uncomfortable and I didn't get the room I thought I was getting. I signed up for a standard queen but the bed was only full size and the quilt had stains on it so I took it off and threw it in the closet. Luckily, the sheets were clean and there was an extra blanket. I also thought I was getting a shower/tub combination but it was only a stand up shower. It was fine for 2 nights but I was very happy to get home to my clean house and comfortable mattress.
