"The rooms were clean and well stocked with tiny soap, lotion, shampoo and water bottles. Mosquito net looked cute and not over bearing. Stylish actually. The meals were relatively nice and fresh. No upset tummies at all. Wish they served African snacks during tea time, e.g. mahamri and sweet potato. The staff were helpful and always pleasant. Discovered the massage amenities almost too late. Very reasonable and the ladies were nice and gentle, as we wanted. Not a great space for people who have walking issues as the rooms are not near the 2 dining halls. They offered to use a wheel chair to transport but not ideal. I would stay here again. It is a smaller hotel but very relaxing."

"Just checked out after an incredible stay at The Sands at Nomad. Staying right on the property for my dives is a dream—the rooms are beautiful, and going straight from your room to an amazing dive is ultimate convenience. The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach vibe, serving incredibly fresh seafood and great drinks right on the sand. Excellent service “@Juma” and the absolute best beachfront spot in Diani. Will definitely be back."

"We had a wonderful stay at Pinewood Resort & Spa, which fitted our requirements perfectly in not being too large but offering everything that we were looking for - pool, gym, spa, beach, multiple restaurants. One of our party was a vegetarian and there could have been more choice for her. We had booked on an all inclusive package, which was convenient as none of us are large drinkers, but being limited to house wine and having to pay the full cost for cocktails, rather than a small surcharge, did not seem the best approach, especially as some of those cocktails were cheaper than cocktails on the all inclusive list. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry service is also good value."

"The property is very beautiful and well maintained, the decorations are lovely. As described, it is a 10 minute walk to a very beautiful beach. The staff were attentive to needs. I didnt sleep well the 1st night because to me the bed was hard & the next day they switched out the mattress. The score for the property description was for the following: the listing advertised 6 bedrooms, which is what we wanted. It was not until after we paid that I learned all 6 were not included in our price, several bedrooms are in a separate tower & rented individually. It still worked out for us because there were enough beds & the children shared space in a gallery. But clarify before you commit so you. K now what you are getting. The host graciously provided a crib for the baby & high chair. The host was helpful in connecting us with airport transport & local tours. Note the jacuzzi is not a hot tub."

"Staff was the highlight of the stay - super friendly and helpful. Room is dated already, not much amenity (had to ask for hair dryer every time needed to use). Same chain as Boxo so sometimes Boxo guests sneaked in and used the pool which was not very nice. An ok stay, bit less quality than the price paid"

"Absolutely hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Absolutely everything was perfect. The villa itself is stunning and in a fabulous location. The staff are just so lovely and friendly and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Eunice made sure our stay was flawless and helped us organise snorkelling, transfers and massages. Beth was a great waitress who learned very quickly what we liked and when! And a massive shout out to Felix and George who kept me and the kids very full and happy with some amazing meals and pastries. We will def be back and would recommend this villa to anyone who likes to be pampered 😊"
