The Meadows-Large Family Condo in Kirkwood

Large 1 bedroom condo in “The Meadows” at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. Located 220 yards from Kirkwood Village with FREE shuttle access to both Timber Creek and Kirkwood Village. Condo Includes full kitchen with everything you need, dining table, living space with Smart TV, radiant heat (November through May) and wood burning fireplace, balcony with gas grill & mountain views. Unit has 1 full bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and one bedroom which includes a queen bed, twin bunk bed and a futon that turns into a full-size bed. The Meadows building has private covered parking with elevator access.

PLEASE NOTE – THE WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE IS NOT OPERATIONAL FOR 24/25 WINTER DUE TO MAINTENANCE ISSUES. WE ARE SO BUMMED, BUT SAFETY FIRST!

THE SPACE
This condo is all about space and location. The condo is about 220 yards to the Kirkwood Village main mountain access. There are also groomed cross-country skiing trails right out the back door of the building. The free Kirkwood shuttle picks up in front of the building giving you transportation to the Kirkwood General Store, Kirkwood Village (chairs 1, 5, 6, 10 & 11) and Timber Creek, the beginner learning area (ski school, chairs 7 and 9).

Drop your gear in your assigned locker. While your there, there is space to tune up your gear at the waxing station if needed. Then stroll upstairs to your unit and enjoy a meal with the family or play a game stored in the closet. Better yet, head downstairs to the hot tub for a soak. Hot tub is located in a room next to the large great room with two-sided fireplace, large tables and super comfy chairs to relax in... perfect for entertaining guests.

Condo is equipped with one queen bed, plush bedding, full size futon with all the bedding needed, and twin bunk bed just perfect for the young ones. Full kitchen with everything a chef could need to make a fabulous meal as well as a gas grill on the private deck. We supply tea, coffee, sugar & creamer and some basic seasonings + cooking oils.

ENTERTAINMENT NEEDS
Two Smart TVs with Netflix and high-speed Wi-Fi.

PARKING
When visiting you will have private underground parking available for one car/truck. Which means no shoveling snow off your car after shredding powder all day! You will also have access to a ski locker w/ lock to keep all your equipment safe and dry. Lockers are conveniently located at the main level entrance of the building.

EARLY/LATE CHECK IN/OUT POLICY
When we can accommodate, an early or late check out can be made available for a $50 fee. The reason we charge this fee is because Kirkwood has the highest utility costs in the country.

GUEST ACCESS
As a guest of The Meadows, you are allowed access to the great room, ski lockers, hot tub, and cross-country ski trails.

PLEASE NOTE
Radiant heat to the building will be shut off during the spring and summer months (May through October). Your heat source during this time is the wood burning fireplace and portable heaters provided. All wood is stocked and supplied for guests.
