"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "Lovely accomodation in an area that has everything you need. Beautiful views, parking and car charging 2 mins away and plenty of resturants and a large Booths supermarket. Highly recommended."

"The Laurel House was amazing! Easy check in, very clean and had everything one could need . The backyard garden is beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and evening glass of wine. I'll definitely be back!"

"This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. "

"The Old Weigh House is a highly specified and beautiful property with offroad parking. It is located in the charming old town area of Kirkby Lonsdale, within easy walking of the river and the town's independent shops, pubs with local brews, and excellent restaurants. Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again."
