The view of the lake, the mountains, and life with our animals will instantly put you in holiday mode. Here, children and adults alike can experience cows, chickens, and rabbits up close—petting them, feeding them, and marvelling at them.
Our cosy holiday apartments offer you a comfortable getaway with everything you need to feel at home. The guesthouse features three rustic-style holiday apartments. In the new country house, you’ll find two newly built, spacious holiday apartments—featuring plenty of wood, lots of light, and a genuine feeling of home. They were built with great care and in collaboration with local craftsmen using natural materials—thoughtfully designed and offering plenty of space to relax. Our new holiday apartments, “Alpenblick” and “Bergblick,” in the stylish country house have been available for booking since July 2025 and are rated with the highest distinction, F*****.
A garden pavilion with a stunning view of the lake and mountains is open to all guests—ideal for barbecuing, reading, daydreaming, or enjoying a cosy summer evening.
Right on our doorstep, our private beach invites you to swim, sunbathe, or go boating. Two rowing boats are available. Younger guests love splashing around in the shallow water and playing in the yard: a pedal-powered bulldog, go-karts, a swing, a slide, and a sandpit provide plenty of variety.
It’s never boring indoors either: a cosy lounge, table tennis, foosball, satellite TV, a washing machine, and a large 180 m² game room offer space for play, fun, and relaxation—no matter the weather.

Our lovingly furnished “Rustica” holiday apartment captivates with its unique colonial-style charm and offers plenty of space for families or couples travelling together. Spanning approximately 75 m², you’ll enjoy comfort, cosiness, and a breathtaking view of the mountains and Lake Waginger.
The apartment features two spacious bedrooms:
- One bedroom with a double bed - Another bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, as well as access to the balcony with a magnificent view
In the spacious living room, a large sofa, a comfortable armchair, and a modern TV invite you to relax. Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
The large kitchen-dining area is fully equipped—with an oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, egg cooker, and much more. The large dining table with six chairs offers plenty of space for shared meals. An additional sofa makes the kitchen-diner even cosier.
The shower and toilet are separate—ideal for families and groups.
Another highlight: a 180 m² children’s playroom in the basement provides additional comfort and makes the apartment family-friendly.
This apartment is ideal for guests who appreciate plenty of space, peace and quiet, and nature—whether travelling with children or as a couple. Pets are allowed in this apartment upon request.
Lake Waginger is nestled in the rolling hills of the Rupertiwinkel—one of Upper Bavaria’s most charming regions. As Bavaria’s warmest swimming lake, it reaches temperatures of up to 27 °C in the summer, making it a true paradise for swimmers, water sports enthusiasts, and those seeking peace and quiet. The surrounding area is characterised by expansive meadows, forests, and small, charming villages. Picturesque biking and hiking trails wind through the diverse natural landscape, passing traditional inns, old churches, and magnificent viewpoints. Nearby towns such as Waging am See, Teisendorf, and Traunstein exude the Bavarian way of life and invite you to linger. Whether you’re looking for active excursions or quiet moments by the water—here, true relaxation blends with authentic Bavarian culture.
We, Andreas and Sabine Albanbauer, warmly welcome you to the Stadlerhof—a lovingly run farm right on Lake Waging. Together with our family, we live and work here in harmony with nature and take great joy in farming. Our guests are welcome to take a look behind the scenes: feed the animals, help out in the barn, or simply experience farm life up close. For us, the greatest joy is when guests of all ages feel right at home here—surrounded by nature, with genuine hospitality, and plenty of space to relax.
