"Our room was large and extremely comfortable with the bonus of a sofa to sit on and a view out over the river. We were lucky enough to get a brief sunset over the river on the first night. Everywhere was furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. "We had a great stay at Hamilton House – very friendly owners, spotlessly clean property, large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Really useful having the car park at the back for our motorcycles, out of sight and under cameras. 15 minute walk in to town. Dumfries is a great base for exploring the area, highly recommended, we will be back!"
