Everything you will need for a restful getaway is here. We enjoyed being close to Kitchen Kettle Village and Sight and Sound Theater. We’d loved being out in the country.
A wonderful stay in a delightful one bedroom brick home.
We particularly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, the quiet and beautiful countryside.
Everything exceeded our expectations.
This is a beautifully appointed property. All the comforts of home and more. The host family. The kings were very polite and accommodating. We have found our new place to stay in Lancaster! The bread, jam and butter welcome was a very nice touch.
We had a truly wonderful stay at this property in Lancaster County. The home was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, and the entire property was absolutely stunning—truly a slice of paradise. The peacefulness of the setting was exactly what we needed - it felt like time slowed down while we were there. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest, beauty, and a little escape from the hustle.
We were in Lancaster for a sight and Sound show, We loved the privacy and how quiet the property was. The whole place was super clean and provided all the amenities we needed. We were greeted on the first day by a super sweet large dog that came to say hello everyday. She loved to be petted while we enjoyed the wonderful front porch
Beautiful and immaculate space...perfect for a couple days of relaxing. Porch was perfect spot to eat outside, read and relax. Everything was perfect even distance to several places we visited. Only issue was no water running the last evening and morning before leaving. Left message with but no response. Other than that it was great.
Amazingly Peaceful, Comfortable, Clean and Perfect
The cottage is located in a most beautiful setting off a winding country road on a wonderfully maintained farm. It was the quintessential cottage retreat. Everything was perfectly appointed and immaculate. Upon arrival, I was greeted with homemade bread and jam and they even provided a stick of butter! The bed was super comfortable and seating was adequate. There is a grill outside and a wonderful covered porch to sit under. It is perfect for a personal or couples retreat. Enjoy!
My fiancé and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations are just lovely. Everything was clean, with beautiful décor. We also liked the split level property and having and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It gives added privacy and separation as needed.
We appreciated the quiet hours as well, because we find that it's always hard to get true peace and quiet when you're staying on someone else's property. We've had a lot of issues with noise at other properties in the past.
We enjoyed the use of the nature trails and rowboat and the family who owns the property was so friendly and welcoming. The VRBO property manager was also very kind and always answered our questions promptly.
Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend. You will also be very close to so many great attractions near Lancaster.
Beautiful location, close to everything. When your done for the day just relax on the porch and take in the scenery. Everything was as described. I would go back without hesitation.
What a wonderfull spot. The area is beautiful, despite the heat there was always a breeze on the porch. There was not one thing about the property to complain about. It was everything we expected and more.
The open fields coming to life in the evenings as the Fire flies sparkle as far as your eyes can see, while the quiet breezy nights help you drift into relaxation, The mornings meadows shining by reflection of sunlight off the morning dew, and the excitement and wonder of horses and cattle communicating with one another. Homemade bread and jam, hospitality and memorable moments we will never forget.
My daughter and I chose this location because it was between my parents and her lacrosse tournament. It was clean, spacious and peaceful. Exactly as pictured. We didn’t get a chance to check out the pond and boat but are still very happy with our choice!
