"The place is picturesque and it could be so much more if they put effort in. The bed was comfortable but not the pull out bed. The breakfast was ok, staff was very limited sometimes you were waiting half HR for a seat when really there were not that many guests. The pool had some work done and the saw dust was sitting on the side for two days. Shame as it a lovely building."

The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. "This is a lovely, quiet place to stay that feels secluded but was close to everything. Get acquainted with European appliances before you go. And there were some things that we needed i.e. napkins and kitchen roll that weren't provided. Gorgeously appointed, but be aware there's only one shower in two bathrooms. "

"Fantastic property in a quiet area, not far from walks and surrounding destinations. Excellent transport links and public transport. We were visiting family and found the property very comfortable and the garden was a good size too. Enough space out the front for 2 cars. Would definitely stay again! "
