It was nice that the property provided breakfast. I didn't like that there was piece of equipment that was taking up four parking spaces and it inconvenienced me from parking in front of my door which I didn't like.

The staff was friendly and effective. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The hotel is a bit removed from things...a car is required for pretty much everything...but everything you want or need is within a 5 minute drive.

For the 2 night stay it wasn't all that bad. Upon check in the night clerk only checked us in with our keys for one night so we had to go to the office to retrieve more keys to be able to get into the room. Our room had flys in there when initially checked in. We tried turning down the air conditioner to get it cold in there to kill them and the air conditioner barely got the room cool.

The place was extremely clean, I would say spotless. The front desk was courteous and helpful. My only complaint was the phone. It would not allow me to make long distance calls. But, the front loaned me phone to make my call. The breakfast area was clean and orderly and breakfast item were plentiful and of good quality

Excellent hotel in Kinston!
This is the third time in as many months that I've stayed at this property. It is absolutely my go-to in Kinston. The property is clean and very quiet. The bed is extremely comfortable. Even more impressive is the bathroom. As someone who is over 6 ft tall, I appreciate a toilet seat that's high enough for me to sit on without killing my knees. I also love that the shower head is high enough that I don't have to bend over or stoop in order to take a shower. The air conditioner always works and you can park within easy distance of your room. I also love that breakfast has tons of options. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this property. I will continue to stay here as long as I keep coming to Kinston. By the way, the hotel is within a very easy driving distance of numerous restaurants as well as downtown Kinston.
