Hideaway Inn Mt.Sunapee
8/10 Good
"Interesting digital Rez and check-in and out worked well. Very interesting decor and extras in the public areas. Rooms are spacious but need more fixtures for unpacking. You're basically stuck living out of suitcase - no other place to put it."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Keene Downtown

Harvest Barn Inn
10/10 Excellent
"I cannot recommend the Harvest Barn Inn more highly. Our two-night stay there was a highlight of our trip. Set beside the Connecticut River, the views are amazing, whether looking at the river out the front door or at the pond and woods out the back side of the property. The Inn is warm and cozy. The rooms are modernized and comfortable (not huge but certainly sufficient). Now, to the heart of it all - breakfast and the innkeepers. Blessing and Kaelan, a wife and husband team, are amazing! They are both kind, friendly and welcoming; beyond that, they are smart and engaging. Conversations with them were fantastic; I look forward to our next time there if nothing more than for the chats. HOWEVER, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the breakfasts. You will never have a better breakfast in an inn anywhere! Each morning, we were served three-course, farm- to-table meals that were scrumptious. Whether the fruits and vegetables came from their on-site garden (quite bountiful) or from neighbors and nearby friends farms, the produce had been harvested within 18 hours. Each breakfast was absolutely delicious! I've traveled the world. Stayed in 5-star hotels. Eaten at 3-Michelin starred restaurants. Stay at Harvest Barn Inn!"
Best Western Springfield Hotel
8/10 Good
"The person that checked us in was wonderful but there was two other employees that were rather off putting. One person was flat out rude and another was very sparky. We ordered a pizza that said it was delivered and when it wasnt at our door we went down to ask and the male at the desk basically told my husband that he should know that the delivery people take it to the room. There was no need for the attitude. But otherwise the stay was okay. Being that there are limited hotels in the area the price, location, and amenities were what we wanted."
Handcrafted NH Treehouse · 2hr Boston · Fire Pit, Lake, Stargazing
10/10 Excellent
"The host was always helpful and very friendly. The Treehouse was exceptionally clean and everything we could possibly need was available. We picked this location because we were able to visit every place we wanted with little travel time. This unique treehouse is a MUST visit!! It was a surprise for my husband and I’d do it all over again!!!Thank you so much "

Mountain Edge Suites at Sunapee, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"First, the service was amazing. The afternoon/evening front desk gentlemen was extremely kind and helpful as we navigated an issue with the room we were originally given (that turned out to not be an issue so won’t bother mentioning). The rooms were slightly dated but clean and well maintained. The only downside of the room was the carpet - it wasn’t awful but was old and a bit musty. We are very sensitive to smells and allergens so others may not notice. That said it didn’t affect our allergies too much so it wasn’t that bad. Room comes with basic cooking equipment, plates and silverware. The room we got was a two bedroom but the queen bedroom doesn’t have a door that closes - it’s a separate room but is open to the living room/kitchen. This wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting for others. Beds were clean and looked new but weren’t the nicest mattresses. Same with the pillows. We did go to the indoor pools - it was pretty well maintained. They had locker rooms and a dry sauna but we didn’t use either. Continental breakfast was as you’d expect. Nothing hot was served but lots of options - including a whole gluten free section which you NEVER see at hotels and I great appreciated. The hotel was nice and the staff great but it definitely had “we were a reeeallly nice hotel before the pandemic and then we lost a lot of our extras” vibes. They used to have a spa, a bar, an outdoor pool and a restaurant but those are all gone. It was fine as is though."
