Cabin in the woods. Minutes to Pymatuning Lake.
This two bedroom remodeled and new large cabin in the woods is an awesome place to enjoy nature. The bathroom is in the cabin with modern new toilet and sink. The outdoor camo warm shower is something adorable. The path is bumpy in parts but well worth the trip. Owner has vehicle available to use in case of muddy days. The living room/kitchen is very relaxing, pretty, and spacious. The bedrooms have a double or a queen bed and are comfy and cozy. The view is amazing of just trees and no other people as you have 10 acres of privacy plus paths to explore by foot. The barbecue (propane) grill is under the porch and the firepit is under a roof which is good for all weather. Bring your cooler, paper plates, steaks and smores. Be ready to relax and enjoy privacy and quiet. This cabin is rustic, yet pretty and compfy. There is a microwave and keurig but kitchen area is limited as the electricity is almost "off the grid" as you are far from the street.
Deer, turkeys, rabbits, birds, and nature is all you see and hear at this cabin. ENJOY the nature and unbelievable relaxing nature of this cabin. It is truly one of a kind, at the back 10 acres of this 60 acre property.
Left turn out the driveway to take Pymatuning lake road to the lake.

We had a great time with our weekend in the woods. The right amount of space and everything we needed. Thank, Maggie for your hospitality - and the water!
We totally enjoyed our time back in the woods in this private cabin. The cabin was very clean. Its so quiet, no road noise, just the sound of the forest around you. The covered fire pit area is so nice. We will be coming back to stay again. Thanks Maggie
The cabin is a wonderful and quiet escape tucked away in the woods. We had a great time. Marggie is a wonderful and friendly host. The kids had a blast playing in the woods. We will definitely come back again. We highly recommend.
Everything you could need for a more rustic, outdoorsy weekend. Beautiful property with plenty of space to really immerse yourself in the woods. Maggie was fantastic, great communicator, gave us plenty of info leading up to the weekend and was around to refill the water tanks for the bathroom and sink. Great price for the cabin on top of all of it. We will be back!
If you like quite woods and solitude this is the place. The cabin was very clean a very comfortable place ,nothing fancy about it as stated the shower was Outdoors but it had hot water, water was a bit strong with bleach from the holding tank but not yhat bad. Maggie the host was great will definitely stay here again when in the areavery friendly and helpful
Me and three friends had a wonderful time staying in the cabin. You couldn’t ask for anybody to be more helpful than the owner. If you were looking for seclusion and privacy, by you cannot beat this property. There is plenty of room in the cabin, around the cabin and trails in the area. The grill and microwave are available to cook or you can cook over the available fire pits. This is an ideal place for partners, friends or family.
Our family absolutely loved this overnight getaway! The kids enjoyed the treehouse along with our pup. Maggie was a wonderful host, making sure the check-in process went smoothly and explained everything thoroughly on our “tour.” It was a wonderful experience to getaway and enjoy the land. Everything you need for a camping experience. We will definitely be back to sit around the cozy fire, enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature and run around the property. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
This was our first family trip and it was amazing! The cabin was exactly as pictured and just what we were looking for. If you want a cabin in the woods with nothing around this is the place to go! We went to the lake a day and it took about 5/10 minutes to get there! We did have a rainy day as well, but the fire pit is covered so it did not stop the fun! Maggie was great and easy to get ahold. We will be booking again!
This is an awesome little hidden gem. Maggie, the owner, was absolutely great. If youre looking to disconnect and enjoy some nature, this is the place. The cabin was very basic, but more than I expected. Theres a small tv with a DVD player and a decent selection of movies for night time. The microwave and coffee machine work as they should. The covered fire pit is a wonderful addition. You're not far from basic necessities, but you feel totally isolated. 10/10 I'll definitely be back.
Maggie was an excellent host. She reached out a couple days in advance with some special instructions for our check in and made sure we didn’t have any questions. When we arrived, she made us feel welcome. We took some time to chat with her at checkout, and she shared some cool stories about her property.
The cabin itself was as described in the listing. It is a glamping experience. Maggie provided us with firewood for a campfire, and we had a great time just hanging out in the woods, playing board games, and relaxing while we waited for the solar eclipse.
The cabin was great and the outdoor fire pit was excellent. We didn’t spend much time indoors because it was cold - right at the end of the season, the propane heater didn’t work and electricity was limited. So we sat around the fire all night and that was perfect. My friend was pickier than me and didn’t sleep well because of scratching critters at the bedroom’s door to the outside. I slept like a log because the interior room had no windows and it was blackout dark - perfect for me! I guess maybe the microwave needed a good cleaning as per my friend. I loved Maggie’s place and will definitely return with husband and dog if her space is available.
This place is magical and Maggie, our host became a friend in our short visit. We rented the cabin in the woods and there was no one around. I work a really stressful job and I just felt the stress leave as we drove in. It is as close as you can get to off grid but it still has a lot of the comforts we are used to. We all slept like babies and I never thought I would like to shower outdoors but I loved it.
Our ten year old said it was one of his best weekends ever. He had so much fun running around and exploring.
This will be a new home away from home for us and we will definitely be back. Thank you Maggie and see you soon!
Maggie was very nice. We could not access our cabin by car so they provided a gator to ride back there. Some mud splashing on the drive, not too bad. More rustic than we were expecting. That might have been our fault though. No wifi, no TV. Low lighting. They had a nice radio station on when we arrived and we left it on the whole time. We brought our dog. Absolutely no grass anywhere around the cabin so she would not go pee. Limit your flushes so water tank does not run out of water. Beds are only full size. Just rustic. We made the most of it, had nice conversation and played a lot of games. Probably won’t be back, but it could be the perfect getaway for some people.
