Only issue was the shower needs some care as far as broken tile etc. Perhaps instructions for combo washer/dryer for those of us from states that don't have that type. Communication with owner was 5plus stars

Great location
We had a great stay in this unit in Kinsale. Great location across from the harbor and very short walk to great restaurants, shops, and pubs. We had some trouble figuring out the washer/dryer combo, but figured it out. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Took us a little to feel comfortable leaving windows open by cross breeze was wonderful. Communication was outstanding and private parking was great! Walkable to wonderful restaurants. While there we booked our return for September 2024

Stay in Kinsale.
We had an amazing time in Kinsale. Catherine was a wonderful host and made that part of our trip super easy. The location was perfect, away from the crowds, yet close enough to walk everywhere. Very modern and super clean. Check out was a breeze. Also, a great view of the harbour!! Would recommend this property to anyone!!

Excellent property, very comfortable. A little minor maintenance wouldn’t go amiss. Some window handles need attention. Repairs to shower wall seem a little botched. Hoover was packed with dirt and dust. Otherwise all good.

Wonderful Stay in Kinsale
We highly recommend staying here. Great location, a short distance along the waterfront from the core town. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculate. The photos of the apartment are accurate. The private parking spot was very convenient. Book it if you can!

Perfect Location
Catherine's apartment is the perfect location for vacationing in Kinsale. We didn't drive anywhere, but to and from the apartment during our four-day stay. Plenty of hiking/walking, pubs, Michelin-rated restaurants, music trad and other, and shopping close by. It's clean, modern and perfect for a vacation for two. It was exactly as described, clean and perfect for self-catering if you don't like to eat out every meal.

Very Nice
This ground floor apartment is a bit like living in a fish bowl, but what it lacks in privacy it more than makes up for in upgrades and conveniences. The kitchen was modern with excellent appliances, the large bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was simply amazing. The upgraded and modern shower was wonderful! (Be forewarned, the water heater is on a timer!) There are lamps and outlets easily accessible on both sides of the bed, a seemingly trivial detail but so nice in a country where rooms often have only one or two outlets and they always seem to be in the most inconvenient location. Apple TV and a newer television were other nice touches. Free on-site covered parking was another huge bonus. Catherine was very helpful and provided great recommendations. We enjoyed our stay and happily recommend this apartment.

This was a great place for the two of us to spend a few days in Kinsale. Comfy bed, Apple TV and Netflix, nice sandwich place just down the street (Food U) and close to town and all amenities.

Perfect in Every Way!
If you are looking for a sophisticated, well appointed, comfortable VRBO stay with a great location in Kinsale, look no further! This first floor 1 bedroom unit was the perfect set up for a week stay in Kinsale. Great communication and local knowledge provided by the owner, walking distance to everything in Kinsale (restaurants, pubs, touristy things, day hikes to Charles Fort and James Fort), and close to so many golf courses, it was the best. Seriously, one of the best VRBO experiences ever. Thanks Catherine!

Great Kinsale rental!
This property was a great fit for our multi-week stay in Kinsale. Such an ideal location, walkable to every part town and a beautiful location right on the harbor! The apartment is modern, clean and has all the amenities we needed including an onsite parking spot. The owner gave some great suggestions and recommendations and was super responsive. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We appreciated the ground floor proximity to the beautiful town of Kinsale. The flat was modern, organized, well-equipped with basic supplies and strong water pressure…and the decor was beautiful. Appreciated Catherine’s suggestions for Bob & Barry’s Historic Walk and the Harbour Cruise — 2 great ways to get oriented. Suggest booking ahead for special meals And noting the days they’re closed. Heartily recommended the music and atmosphere of Kitty O Se’s bar. Thanks for 3 nights of fun and the end of a 6 week dream trip!

Excellent place in Kinsale
Very nice and comfortable VRBO. The place is in nice condition and is represented well by the photo’s. It is in a perfect location in Kinsale on the water and an easy walk into the heart of the town. It was chilly while we were there and we had an issue with the heat but the owner was very responsive and took care of the problem immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all the condo is absolutely beautiful and spotless. The king size bed and pillows were the best we have slept on since we started our trip over a week ago. The owner is so helpful. She gave us detailed directions and a list of her favorite restaurants including locations and phone numbers. We would highly recommend.

Simply stunning unit that fronts on Kinsale harbor. The unit came well appointed with everything one might need for an extended stay. A terrific location that is a short walk to anything you wish to explore. Restaurants, shops and the water were at your doorstep. The provided parking was a big plus. Only wish we could stay longer.

Wow - the perfect property to stay at! Extremely comfortable, like a home away from home - VERY comfortable bed and extremely good shower. The WiFi was not good but just used hotspot from my phone. Will not hesitate to book again for our next trip to Kinsale - we Loved it!

The property was perfectly located close to restaurants and the town of Kinsale. The reserved parking space was very convenient and located very close to the apartment. We enjoyed the view of the marina when having coffee in the morning.

Perfect apartment for our 4 nights in Kinsale! It was an easy walk to everything Kinsale had to offer and the off street car park made having a rental car easy to deal with. Catherine was especially helpful with my multiple questions and responded very quickly when we asked them. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Kinsale!

We’ve been through Ireland for nearly a month and enjoyed many different vacation homes. Bar none-Catherine’s was our favorite. From pre-check in phone call (we were running late, Catherine was nothing but supportive, helpful and friendly) to check out—(so simple!!) our experience was a pleasure. The apartment was clean, comfortable and extremely well appointed. Our only regret is that we hadn’t planned to stay longer! The location was convenient to restaurants and shops. The proximity to water and private parking was a great bonus. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!! A++ in my book:)

The location is perfect, right across from Kinsale Harbor and an easy walk to everything. The place is modern, clean, comfortable and very spacious. Catherine was great to work with and provided spot on directions and some recommendations that were appreciated. While located on a street, it was very quiet. The rain shower shower was fantastic. It was also beautiful to wake up, step outside, and see the sun rising over the boots in the harbor. Thank you Catherine!

Luxury apartment fitted out to a very high standard. Close to all shops pubs and restuarants.
Would recommend this apartment to anyone. Everything you could require all within 5 minutes walk. Great fish and chips at dinos but does get very busy on friday nights. Dedicated parking a god send has parking in kinsale is a night mare at busy times. Catherine at the end of a phone call if you need her. A gem of a stay in a wonderfull fishing village. Thank you Catherine for giving us the use of you lovely apartment.

Great location. Modern large apartment ground floor. Only two problems - vrbo payment did not work and weeks later still was not right. (Not necessarily the owner’s fault) and second along with a modern apartment there were modern appliances and no instructions on how to use so we had to wing it. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who was staying in Kinsale. Restaurants and activities are all close by.

Wonderfully convenient!
The location of this lovely apartment was even better than expected. After long days of driving and walking, it was so nice to be only a few blocks from the center of Kinsale. The bed was very comfortable and everything was thoughtfully provided, including very recent guidebooks for the area. Highly recommend!

Location, Location, Location (and Comfort!)
This property is centrally located in Kinsale within easy walking distance of the center of town (and I need a hip replacement in the coming months) and is right on the harbor. My wife and I arrived ready to relax and this really fit the bill. The property is newly done and exquistely arranged. One of my favorite amenities was the "rain forrest" shower mounted on the ceiling in the shower offering a 30" * 24" cascade of water that was incredibly relaxing. The King-size bed was wonderful; I awoke amazingly relaxed and ready to go. Beth and I had an amazing time in Kinsale with this property as our anchor. Catherine and Michael, the owners of the property were very communicative and responsive and they had some great recommendations for us (Bruno's, Charles Fort, Old Head) A bargain at twice the price.

Perfect home base for mini-adventures in County Cork & beyond
We could not have been happier with this property! At first, we were concerned about a bustling cafe right outside the front windows, but this ended up being a complete non-issue. This is an extremely well-equipped and well-managed property, and we did not find ourselves in need of anything that wasn't already available in the flat. The living space was very comfortable for our mornings and evenings, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner after shopping at the Kinsale Farmers' Market. The bed was VERY comfortable and the space was very quiet for a restful night's sleep. Having a parking spot dedicated to this property proved to be a MASSIVE advantage as the days get very crowded & busy on the street in front of the flat, and parking would have been difficult to find if we didn't already have a designated spot. If we ever find ourselves venturing to Kinsale again - and I hope we do - we will definitely book our time here again. Thanks to Catherine for being helpful and responsive when we had a little issue with our key to the flat!
