"Our room was spacious and clean. Bathroom could use an update - may be time to remove the old telephone hanging on the wall in the bathroom. Otherwise, we would chose this hotel again when coming to Big Rapids."

"We had the idea that electricity was available thru solar panels but it never charged or worked the whole time. Told the owner and he didn't do anything about it. Left our shower stuff in his shower and he wouldn't let us get it back from there. Got stuck in the drive the first day when he said it was cleared for ALL vehicles. "

"The host was super nice but and the cabin has potential but we had to lower the rating because the pipes froze in the bathroom the day of our arrival and the kitchen sink wouldn’t drain. Had issues with the wifi/tv too. Probably better suited for warm weather stays, which we would be willing to try. "

"To start of, the outside of the cabin is not very welcoming. The inside was cozy, but the floors were dusty as well as the bathroom. There was dog hair on some of the blankets. The shower was horrible, the hot water lasted 2 minutes before it got cold. The shower created condensation all over the bathroom and the moisture stayed in the walls as well as the floor basically our entire stay. The toilet was not stable at all and was wobbly every time we sat. Unfortunately I would not stay here again."
