Hotel was right outside Murrayfield stadium. Was easy to find and had car parking, room was large and comfortable. Big bathroom, nice shower. Staff helpful, fitted us in for dinner even though we made a last minute booking. Nice breakfast cooked to order. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Great Nostalgic hotel, beautifully appointed rooms and the location was perfect to visit the city of Edinburgh.

Clean and fresh and modern rooms. But we did not expect to have our breakfast in the pub next door. Last day it was a big rugby game on tv with loud volume and people drinking beer and watching at 09 😁 But the bacon was delicious.

Very receptive reception staff. I made a mistake on my reservation and they were quick to accommodate. Double check your reservation - I do not remember booking an accessible room but there seemed to be several of us in the hotel with the same mistake. Rooms were well maintained and very comfortable. Gym was spacious but very full each time we visited. Breakfast was ample. The staff were responsive initially to ask for drink orders but very slow to help after the initial encounter (lots of chatting but not many assessing the follow-up needs at tables). This was the rule during our multiple night stay (not an outlying experience), and at the price point, I was disappointed. Because of that, I would think twice about paying for breakfast. Many restaurants are available in the area. Other than breakfast staff, I had a 5 star stay. Looking forward to a return visit.
