"We stayed here for a month to kickoff our retirement and what a month it was. Dorothy and Andy were fantastic hosts. We were fortunate to tour their croft with Andy and learned so much. The location is great for having lots of peace and quiet while also having the rest of Skye hikes and attractions in near reach. One of our favorite walks involved simply leaving on foot and walking toward Tarksavaig. The space is well furnished with a comfy bed, a great tub/shower, and with all the supplies we needed to cook meals. It felt like home right away. We highly recommend! "

"This house was incredible! The views were spectacular and the master bedroom and space in general was luxurious and welcoming. The coal heat system that everyone mentions in their reviews is not as scary as you might think. Kyle gives you video instructions on how to do it and sets everything up for your first go at lighting the coals. If you aren’t used to starting fires or fireplaces in general it can be stressful but the house is meant to be heated through this system so as long as you watch and read the instructions you’re golden! The kitchen is also a dream and the shower had delightfully hot water. Cannot recommend enough!"

"This was an amazing location. The house itself is old and charming. We had everything we needed for cooking and eating in; beds were comfy, heaters warmed the rooms well, and the hot water in the shower helped relax after a long day of hiking. Guests should note that the ceilings upstairs are low and the staircase is steep and narrow. There is a downstairs bedroom if that is an issue. We absolutely recommend this house and the area. Don't miss Cafe 1925 in nearby Ardvasar!"

"This is an amazing place to stay! Beautiful , spacious house, off the beaten path, on the beach, perfect for our group of 5 adults. Great kitchen with enough pots and pans for cooking and eating and storing food. Lovely rooms. pretty outdoor space to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Beautiful sunsets. Loved sleeping to the sounds of waves rolling in and sheep calling out in the distance. Perfection! Long one lane drive off the main road."
