"Was great. Breakfast was good, accomodations were comfortable, staff were very nice and helpful. We had a dog with us and we didn't get the advertised pet bits but that was an issue with hotels.com booking lacking info on the £20 per night pet charge and the hotel being unaware of us coming with a pet."

"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly. We would likely return for another stay. "

"Hotel is in a quiet area of Inverness, requiring a car or taxi to visit the town centre. The hotel itself is an older, grander building with a newer (2006), annex. We stayed in the annex, which had lovely big and clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable, with a fridge, tea and coffee. Bathroom was huge with nice products and a great shower. We had breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were all welcoming with a real family atmosphere and they couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely return and have no problem recommending the hotel to other travellers. Inverness is a great base to see the great glen and the north east coast. "
