Great Spot

Great apartment and location

I would totally recommend! It was a very practical apartment. I stayed with my spouse and my parents. The location was great, the manager was very arranging with the check-in time, and we really appreciated that we had two floors and two full bathrooms, one for my parents, and one for me and my spouse. Wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the nice balcony

No outlets in upstairs bathroom. Couldn't use hair dryer. And it was hot sleeping, but only a plug in fan. Property manager was very nice, efficient. Very clean in general

Family ski weekend

Fantastic location, friendly and responsive property manager. We would stay here again especially if we wanted to go out at night where everything is walkable. Easy ride to the mountain (2 minutes). Challenge - still uses multiple keys which can be lost. Only one distinct bedroom, with multiple beds. First floor has kitchen sitting area that also has twin beds. It worked well for our family but it wasn’t explicit in the listing.

Very interesting building in a historical area. Perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again if i had a larger group of people. If your not good with stairs this is not your place. Host was great and easy communication.

Lovely Location

The unit was great for us. One big bedroom (with bath), 2nd bath and living room with lots of beds everywhere. (We slept 4 adults in 3 beds.)Decidedly non-corporate, but very clean with everything we needed. Hosts were very helpful.

Wonderful Windham rental with views of Mountain!

Everything was brand new, warm (despite negative temperatures!) and perfect for our stay. The condo is right in the middle of town, but great privacy and views of the ski mountain. The owner was very responsive and a joy to deal with!

Excellent Location and Very Spacious

Perfect location to be close to Windham Mountain and right in the center of town. Lots of space and sleeping options. Well stocked and good options for parking. Noise from outside the bar was a bit of a concern late at night, but I don’t think there is much that can be done about that.

Ideal

Arkady was easy to connect with. Made the check-in process seamless. Had wealth of knowledge regarding the building’s history. Located near Tap Room and Valero gas station for quick groceries and a list of beers to choose from. Wish I had brought more friends as the loft had plenty of room (was one of three and easily could’ve comfortably slept another three.) Will be recommending to friends and family.

BEWARE!! While this property is in an excellent location (steps to restaurants), and the owner is available, it desperately needs a deep clean. We went out and bought cleaning wipes to clean the toilet seats and the grime from the sinks and handles. Moldy shower curtain, grimy coffee maker, fingerprints and smudges on every wall.. just grimy. There's a chair in the bathroom that barely hides the dirtiest floor I have ever seen. I have seen cleaner bathrooms in fraternity houses. Honestly so disappointing. We left after one night and cut our trip short; we just couldn't sleep there again. I've expressed concern to owner and asked for a refund for second night. He said they would have fixed the problem "in minutes" if we had let him know. This unit needs hours of cleaning; this is not something remedied in minutes. Whatever they are paying their cleaner, it's too much. If you are looking for cot style beds in the living room, dirty floors and smelly showers, this is your place. If not, keep looking.

Great Location and Space But Needs Some Attention

We enjoyed our weekend checking out Windham and other local attractions. The Windham Townhouse is in a superb location in a historic Windham building. Restaurants, stores, bars, and much more is easily accessible. Plenty of parking. We had three cars and there was no problem parking on the street or in the back parking lot. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent. The manager provided a tour and overview of the property plus added some advice for checking out Windham. The directions were clear and manageable. There are plenty of beds. We added two more people a day before arriving. This place had plenty of beds for at least 8 people. The upstairs room has room for 5 people plus a bathroom. The double beds are on the floor. The other bedroom is actually combined with the living room, dinning area and kitchen. An "L" shaped set up that works, but really is not a separate bedroom. We found the property to be in need of some deep cleaning, some painting and typical maintenance. Dishes were dirty. Visible dust and cobwebs in assorted areas around the property.

Acceptable and very friendly

When we arrived unfortunately our drive was long and tiresome. We were under the impression it was a townhouse, not an apartment in a 3 story building which had two very boisterous bars on the main floor. And about another dozen apartments. Parking was far from the unit, and the easiest way in was through the back which was very dark at night no lighting, too many stairs and 4 keys to remember to open all the doors. Not suitable for a family that have to make several trips to the car. Only two beds were actually comfortable, overall great for college skiers on a weekend, who don’t expect much. The property manager was very friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to lend us an iron cause we forgot to bring one. Could only reach him by calling no text and when one is trying to save roaming costs calls are not convenient. Fortunately we were not there the entire day, we were out mostly, Location is great if you are doing hiking or skiing in the Hunter, Windham area, very close to trails and the family we went to visit.

Weekend Getaway

The view from the balcony is spectacular! You can walk to the nearby store for your necessities and walk down below to get some drinks! Will definitely go back.
