King Bed-HOT TUB-Pool-NRG-Hiking-Kayaking

A beautiful drive through our scenic West Virginia mountains will get you to many local activities such as recreational boating, hiking, fishing, rafting and kayaking.
The house is a 30-minute scenic drive along the historic Midland Trail to New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. You'll pass a couple of waterfalls along the way so make a day of it!
Fayetteville, voted "coolest small town", is right along the route to New River Gorge and has many locally owned restaurants and breweries. It's also home of several adventure companies who offer hiking, biking, white water rafting, repelling, ATV riding, horseback riding & so much more!
West Virginia's state capitol of Charleston is about a 30-minute drive west. Charleston is full of little shops and local restaurants, a shopping mall and Haddad Riverfront Park that features live music.
Our home is in a quiet kid friendly, close-knit neighborhood.
Seat yourself around the semi smoke free fire pit or relax in the hot tub. Bedrooms have a 32" tv in one room and a 42" in another. Both are smart TVs with Wi-Fi. We offer one king and one queen bed to sleep 4 adults comfortably.
Livingroom has a 50" smart TV with Wi-Fi. There are board and video games available in the cabinet under the TV stand. Washer and dryer in the basement. Hallway closet is locked and not available for use.
Please no smoking or vaping.
Doorbell camera is installed for safety measures only.
We hope you enjoy our Almost Heaven, WV as much as we do!

Boomer Bungalow
Very cute cozy little cottage. Neighbors are CLOSE, but very nice. On street parking. Loved all the little unincorporated towns we drove through. Just have to drive a few miles for stores.

Nice weekend getaway
My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing weekend away here. We appreciated the snacks that were left for us and we loved having the hot tub! The property was only a 30 minute drive to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center and several good restaurants in the New River Gorge National Park area. My husband loved playing the PacMan game! The neighborhood was quiet and the house was very cozy. We had a great weekend here.

Boomer for a boomer
Very nice place to stay to explore both Hawks Nest State Park and the New River Gorge National Park. We hiked each of the days we were in the area and the rental was very nice to return to. The snacks provided by the owner (s) were quite thoughtful. Communication was rapid and accurrate. The kitchen had plenty for us to cook our dinners. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fun family weekend
We stayed in the Boomer Bungalow for a long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and decorated very cute. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and even a few extra things just to make the stay more comfortable. We did not get the chance to try out the pool, but the hot tub was great! The neighbors were very friendly and outgoing, and the area felt very safe. We would definitely recommend this house!

Feels like home!
From the very day we booked until our departure we have been more than pleased with the host. Details were communicated very well, and the accommodations were spot on for what we expected. We did not have the chance to take in all the amenities due to visiting family. Thankful they were available if time allowed. When my wife walked in, she said “this is a cozy place, “ but on our last day she said “this is like a home away from home.” I would have to agree. We will definitely book this property again whenever we travel back to Boomer area.

The Boomer Bungalow was a fantastic home.
We had a great stay in Boomer. The homes in this area are very close which we are not used to when we stay in a VRBO but for this area it is the lifestyle and it was great. The neighborhood was filled with friendly locals that were very helpful in giving us the history of the area. We enjoyed talking to them all. The Bungalow was so cozy and the 4 of us were very comfortable. Everything is very well stocked. We wanted for nothing. We only had 4 days but needed a week at least. We chose this area to visit New River Gorge National Park specifically and we oy touched the surface of what it has to offer. We visited Hawks Nest State Park, The New River Bridge, and drove to Charleston WV. On our way home we stopped by Beckley to visit the Exhibition Coal Mine and do the tour. What a great experience that was. The park is huge so when planning this trip allow for more time to see it all and take in all the beauty the area has to offer. The fall colors we fantastic. Thank you for opening up this home for travelers.
