Half-timbered house from 1800s near Præstø

"Vacation in a Historic Building. We felt right at home in the beautiful, gently renovated old farmhouse, the spacious garden, and the rural surroundings. Our host, Peter, gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and provided some helpful tips. The guidebook, which was sent to us in advance, contained extensive information and tips. We were happy to follow Peter’s recommendations for exploring the area. The house was perfectly equipped, from the well-stocked kitchen to the trampoline, water guns, and beach gear. We’d love to return to this idyllic spot."
Former vicarage on Nyord close to the sea

"What a beautiful little house. It’s nicely decorated, with a harmonious color scheme that gives it a positive atmosphere. It’s located in a quiet little village, where you can easily walk to the pier by the sea for a quick dip. Tourists visit the car-free village every day, though not in large numbers. There are two restaurants and a café (with a small shop). So, dining out is close by! The people in the village are friendly. It’s a great base from which to explore the rest of the island."

"We loved our brief stay here. The staff was welcoming and friendly; we're sad we didn't get to stay longer and enjoy the property. Denmark was actually experiencing a heat wave while we visited and they upgraded our room automatically into one with better air flow without us asking. For those coming from the U.S., I'll note that they spoke perfect English, so that is not a concern."
