Wooohooo! Three days without having showered...we made it to Kimba at last - halfway across Australia - and we found this sign.... AND beautifully hot showers! What a feeling that was...standing there feeling the hot water on your skin... Honestly...this trip made us appreciate the small things so much. This way of travelling teaches you the value of the basics. From our world travels...this was my most favourite country so far. I love Australia, its people, the weather, the wildlife, the scenery, the beer, the wine - and the way we travelled through it was pretty damn amazing. The sense of freedom cannot be beaten. Us. Kimba is the place that is the half way across Australia. It's a quaint quiet little country town. Plenty of things to see. Not a bad spot to stay either.
