Kilmore Quay Castleview II is a holiday home, situated just a 10 minute walk from the beach and fishing village of Kilmore Quay enjoys a truly amazing location with views over the burrow of Kilmore Quay.

Kilmore Quay is a beautiful traditional Irish fishing village located on the south coast of Co. Wexford in the South East of Ireland. This is an un-spoilt village, with thatched cottages dotted throughout, beautiful coastal walks, and the fabulous Saltee Islands off the coast which hosts one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Europe.

Kilmore Quay can deliver a host of activities to accommodate your visit from Crafts, Chartered Boats, Diving, Sailing, Shore Angling and an array Wildlife attractions.

Foodies will love the local restaurants, where seafood is a speciality, and wonderfully fresh fish and chips in the award winning Saltee Chipper. There are also many Pubs in the village.

One of only three marinas in Ireland to hold this award, Kilmore Quay Marina has been awarded yet another Blue Flag at a recent ceremony in Dublin.

Castleview House II is a holiday home located in a quiet cul de sac, and has both front and rear landscaped gardens. This magnificent house has 4 bedrooms, a fully fitted Kitchen with all modern conveniences and a dining table for up to 8 guests. The sitting room area overlooks the landscaped garden and the sunroom is perfect for a relaxing evening.

One week family stay in Castleview

There were three generations in our party and accommodation was perfect for all. The house was spacious and very well equipped. Thee was plenty if fresh towels and the house was spotless. It was a great base for travelling around the area. The large garden was ideal for young children and the travel cot & high chair was ideal too. We will definitely consider a return visit.

Well equiped large spacious house in a beautiful quite location. Excellent communication.

Lovely clean spacious house with a great garden. The kitchen was very well equiped. Bathrooms were very clean and all showers were good. The towels could do with updating, The single beds were very confortable but the double beds were noisy and sank in the middle.

Perfect holiday home

The property is very spacious, modern and really well kept. Kilmore Quay is a great spot for a short break- located a short drive from parks, beaches and Wexford town. The village itself is vibrant and a great spot to have a coffee. Cleanliness was the highest standard I’ve seen in a holiday home and Martin the host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Very nice house with a great big garden too. Located on a quiet cul de sac. It was a perfect base for us to explore Wexford and surrounding areas. We had plenty of space inside and outside the house. Martin, the owner, is a gentleman and very helpful. We would love to return and we will recommend this house to others

A fantastic house!

My family, friends and I had a lovely week in Castleview II. Martin, our caretaker, looked after us very well and texted/called me frequently to see if we needed anything and to see if all was good.We were delighted with the house. Very comfortable and spacious. Kilmore Quay and its surrounding area has excellent restaurants and the fresh fish is delicious. We especially enjoyed our meals in The Wooden House, and Mary Barry's. The trip to The Saltees and Hook Head was also great. Lots to do and see. We had to be very careful walking on the road, we would have loved a pavement from the house to the village as cars can go a bit fast on this stretch of road. All in all it is a great place to stay.

Great stay

What a fabulous house! We came over with our sons and their families. We had high chairs supplied and travel cots. The house is spacious and very clean. Plenty of living room. We made one living room into a play area for the grandchildren and visiting family. Utility room with all mod cons. Kitchen diner is brilliant, its big and has another living room by it We spent a lot of time around the table. The outside space was massive and well kept. The caretaker Martin is so friendly and approachable. We contacted him a couple of times and nothing was to much trouble. The location at the end of the cul de sac is ideal. Very quiet with fab surroundings. It's a short walk into the village of Kilmore Quay which we did to go to the beach and eating out.

Family New Years celebration.

Rented both houses for our family new years gathering, it was very comfortable for 15 adults and 3 children. Houses are conveniently located only 1 minutes drive from Kilmore quay where you have local pubs and restaurants. Would definitely come back again.

Phantastic house for a small price

Kilmore Quay is 10 minutes away by foot. A small interesting village with some pubs and cafes. The house itself has very much space and you can enjoy a quiet vacation. The housekeeper Martin explained everything in detail and we could contact him for every question we have. For two families it´s a perfect place. You have enough bathrooms and the kitchen is fitted well. There is a wahing machine and a dryer. We had a very nice vacation and many thanks to the agency and Martin!

50th Birthday celebration weekend

This accommodation was booked by myself and my sister for a family celebration over the weekend. Visitors travelled from England and Cork for event; Fantastic location; Fabulous Accommodation; Well Equipped; Very Clean; everyone was kept together ; very spacious. Hospitality at its Best

Firstly, I would like to thank Martin, the owner of the house. Martin was so thoughtful and friendly. On arrival Martin had a carton of milk and some lovely cakes for use! Above our expectations. The House was 10/10! Very Clean, all the basics in the kitchen to use, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing power... full of kitchen appliances, fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, washing machine and dryer all you need in a holiday home. Very spacious house, 4 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms with unsuits and 2 rooms with 2 single beds. Main specious bathroom and another toilet off the utility room. Generous sitting room and open plan kitchen/living room. Working TV’s in both living and sitting rooms. An ideal house for a large family or few friends to get away! We had our 20-month boy with us and Martin had a travel cot for us with plenty of blankets and sheets and a high chair for him. Excellent Wifi connection available. The house was walking distance from the Quay – about 10mins to the heart of Kilmore Quay – beautiful scenery and chipper! Walking distance to Mac’s for the basics if needed. Beautiful clean beach and play area for kids. Ideal location for a family holiday/get-away, no distractions just the beautiful surroundings. I have nothing negative to say about the house or area all amazing. I can’t wait to head back again.

Home from home

our holiday in Kilmore Quay July 2017

We stayed at Castleview 11 this July . We had a very enjoyable stay , the house was very spacious , all mods cons provided , beautiful setting , I would have loved to bring the kitchen home with me,`. The caretaker Martin was very helpful and available if needed. Even the weather obliged, we had a four year old with us and he just loved the freedom in the area. Lovely restaurants especially Mary Barry's and the Lobster Pot . From start to finish with this booking we could find no fault , will definitely return here again.

Fabulous holiday as always

This was the third time we rented Castleview although previously we were in Castleview I. The best thing about both houses is that they are very spacious both inside and out. Plenty of accommodation for two families (we were 4 adults and 5 kids) with great communal spaces and places to be on your own. The quality of fit out is really excellent and you won't need to bring anything. The caretaker Martin is excellent too, really helpful.

Great spacious well equipped house, very caring and efficent caretaker

We (4 adults, 3 children) had a very comfortable stay in this spacious house. We were vry well looked after by Martin, and had friendly and efficient conatct at every stage of the booking. The house is off the road and thus very quiet. The linen is fresh, in mint condition. The house is very well maintained, like new. The 2 en-suite bedrooms are a big plus. The location is ideal to visit Wexford county and at walking distance of Kilmore Quay village. In a nutshell, we will gladly rent this house again if we go back to Wexford, and we highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable !

Beautiful Kilmore Quay Break away
