"Ended up having to have a late check in and they were accommodating, for a fee which was lined in the rules. However the heater in the room didn’t work, the wifi was weak and could not connect. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling. You can hear every door opening and closing, the exit door is right in front of the room, so you hear that slamming each time. The room is a little much for what it is but if it is just a place to sleep, then this it is perfect. It’s a nice area and it’s close to...

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Paid parking was available and nearby. Property was close to all of the places we wanted to see."

"Really lovely stay very close to sites as well as a bus stop to get into the city quickly. The staff gave great recommendations and allowed us to check in really early."

"A beautiful place to stay. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a while. Really enjoyed my stay."

"Short but pleasant stay at Knights Rest"

"Lovely accommodation helpful friendly staff and in a great location"

"Wonderful one night stay. Comfortable and clean. Great directions provided by the owners. Would be a great spot if you have little ones as the shared space has a lovely play space. Toiletries were top notch."

"The staff are absolutely fantastic "

"Scott is a great host - nothing appears to be too much trouble - excellent stay and will be returning soon"

"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

"Rooms and washrooms were clean and tidy. Guesthouse is one street away from the beach."
