"Highly recommend this charming townhouse in Portree. Attractive living room and well-designed kitchen downstairs, with two comfortable bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The location is unbeatable -- a 5-minute walk takes you to the town center for shops, pubs and groceries. Another few minutes takes you right to the harbour and more. Perfect launch point for trips up the Trotternish peninsula and over to the Cuillin mountains. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even sending us a heads-up about approaching weather. Great experience!"

"Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!"
