The location of this condo was the reason we booked. Staying at the base of Pico is a treat. The condo is a little outdated but the location makes up for it. Clean, plenty of supplies, cookware, dishes, glasses, etc...
Great location and the host was right on the money anytime I had a problem with question I was able to email them and they got right back to me. That’s the way to do it.
Great location and size. The toilet had issues. It kept running for between 20 minutes to two hours. The kitchen is dated but very functional. The key pad had issues. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not for a few tries. Tried to call the company about the toilet but was on hold for a very long time.

Great location, disappointing for $$
The condo is operated by a management company (which is indicated in the listing) who requires renters to agree to a lengthy contract with restrictions, impediments and requirements in addition to the standard VRBO terms prior to receiving door codes etc.
Although the condo was clean, it is dated and in a state of disrepair. The toilet runs constantly, the bathroom fan does not work, the internet and cable were not working and half of the outlets in the kitchen were inoperable. There is peeling wallpaper, mismatched paint, broken outlet covers, stained carpets in multiple locations and what appeared to be black mold on a few locations in the bathroom.
There are no skylights and no vaulted ceilings as indicated in the listing, however, the most disappointing thing about the condo was the bed. To call this a bed is charitable. This was not something fit for sleeping. It was more akin to a piece of plywood on a slab of stone with cheap synthetic bedding, and I enjoy a firm mattress.
The location is great as advertised. It's convenient and the mountain is a hidden gem in the area.
Great location
Was a bit too small for 4 adults
Needed a king size bed vs queen for two adults and sofa bed could work for two kids but only one adult… end of day made it all work.
The unit was very dusty. The carpeting, of which there is a lot, probably hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The dust was so bad it affecting our breathing. Also, the kitchen was not that well equipped.
It's fine, but a bit outdated. TV has limited choice of programs. Coffee machine supplies are not great. Dishwasher machine didn't turn on during our exit Every room problem you have to call Central office of Getaway Vacations and it's always busy. Unit is kind of expensive too. Probably is not worth the money we've paid.
