"This is "no frills", but highly recommend. Pleasant all around...from check-in, to complimentary items to the coziest bed and pillows. 15 minutes from UConn campus, close to State Park, restaurants and scenic drive."

"The place was clean, and the staff was amazing. It’s an old motel, which would be nice if it were improved. However, I really appreciated the sparkles and the good smell. No cigarettes at all, and the bathroom was shining. Very close to the UConn campus, about 7 minutes, and very convenient."

"My stay at Holiday Inn was ok but was disappointed after booking a 1 King size bed room to be placed in a standard 2 queen size bed room. The room didn’t not look like the pictures and had some damage to the room, it was also not as clean as I would have expected. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very kind also the staff during complimentary breakfast there was one staff member who was rude but unfortunately was unable to get his name.The reason why I booked here was based on the reviews but can say some of them were deceiving I read a review that stated that they had a hot tub which lead me to book this location which was false. Breakfast was delicious. One good thing about this place was that the location was great and accessible to the highway and restaurants and malls."

"Breakfast was good variety, i will say the hotel should invest in a more industrial toaster made for constant use rather than standard kitchen toasters. Room was large and my only complaint is that there are gaps around the door which lets light in from the hall and we could hear conversations from thr room next door through the connecting doors. "
