"The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10."

"Fantastic family break on a working farm. Mr King and his family are lovely warm hosts making sure you have everything you need and are enjoying your stay. "A good hotel in a great location. The hotel is simplistic, this is a no frills experience. The rooms are cleaned every four days but you can request new towels and additional toilet paper from reception. The rooms are small but the air conditioning works well which is needed in the summer heat wave. The property is modern but does show ware and tear. Some staff members were helpful but most were distant and appeared unenthusiastic. Breakfast is ok, it provides the minimum of juices, some fruits, hard boiled eggs, cheese, pastries, and coffee. The breakfast reflects the overall tone of the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location."
