"Where do I begin, first off the property is awesome, peaceful and beautiful. BUT we got there and the heaters (3) did not work, it was a very cold sleep. The next day we noticed that we had no coffee or utensils, we were given coffee and utensils. We were given a heater but that still left the bathroom freezing. We only had 1 facecloth which was corrected. Later the first day we found that the only water coming in the shower was scalding hot, we could not shower. When we attempted to watch TV it wouldn't connect to the internet so there was no TV to watch. The next morning we wanted to have coffee and the coffee was broken and wouldn't brew. The final thing was that the breaker would blow everytime we used the microwave. Despite all of this we would definately go back but we'd make sure they verify that everything works "

"I'd never recommend for seniors! And l'd never recommend until a number of issues are addressed. We had no hot water either night or heat the last night of a two night stay. Probably most bothersome was no window covers for privacy. It was like being in a fish bowl! To their credit the host tried to fix the hot water issue, but didn't. They communicated well with us and were pleasant people. The unit was well equipped with necessities. The bed was difficult to get into and out of for seniors. If everything worked as it should have, this evaluation would have been better."

"The property matched what was described in the listing. Very clean, spacious and well stocked.My bedroom had a desk and comfortable chair, which was great, as I unfortunately had to work 3 evenings.Overall, we (4 adults in our 50s) were very happy with the property. One guest raved in the guest book about the pizza at Moose's Saloon. We respectfully disagree. After waiting 65 minutes, it was easily the worst pizza I've ever eaten."

"We had a very enjoyable stay. Our only concerns were the AC did not cool the house the first night - we opened the windows and by the second night the house was cooled sufficiently. The second concern was that the porch (lakeside) entrance would not lock. So I give the stay 4.5 stars."
