Immaculate. Thoughtful touches. Prompt in room dining service. Breakfast in Shamiana restaurant beyond delicious with so much variety. But it is the people who make The Taj so memorable. This hotel is a sanctuary in crazy busy Mumbai. We recommend it highly."

"Exceptional stay that must be one of the best in the world. Staff were extremely courteous, very accommodating, and provided top tier service. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and superbly appointed. Hotel grounds and amenities were beautiful, and you can feel the tradition. Breakfast was very good with a broad spread of fresh items, with a great sunrise to catch if you’re early as well. I've stayed at other great hotels in Mumbai but this has best the best. Breakfast was at times busy but we always went at peak time and its full occupancy. All the staff are incredibly courteous, helpful and polite. "
