"The guesthouse is exceptionally clean and the gardens are beautiful and peaceful. I spent many hours just relaxing there. They have good wifi and a bar with a wide selection of beer. The food is well-prepared and the kitchen staff is very accommodating. The guesthouse is out of the way. You can walk into town in about 20 minutes, but the house is on a dirt road for the first part of your walk. After that the walk is easy. There are not many choices for food within a 10 minute walk although...

"We had a lovely, comfortable stay here. The breakfast is the best we had in all of East Africa! Unfortunately, there was a construction site next to our room and it was quite noisy. Also, the bathroom lighting was so low you could barely see and the shower was handheld, so not easy to use"

"After reading how in the ghetto's in Africa, you have to be careful if you are white. We decided it was near airport as stated, but in a shanty town that was with even driving 10 minutes off the main road. There were no restaurants near, if we went out, we would have had to have an escort. The young woman in charge looked at us as if we were strange due to the fact, after seeing the location, we backed out of staying in the motel. It was the best home or business in the area that we saw. But...

"The place and hotel room is generally clean. But the room can become stuffy easily. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money considering the price."

"i didn't stay there.... we nocked the door and there was someone inside... but she refused to open the door.. we waited outside sometime (10 mts,) waiting for the help from neighbor .. the neighbors nocked the door but in vain... then we decided to come back to another hotel..."

"Everything was perfect and the room are big enough,they feed you and they are friendly, the only issue was make sure that you don’t pay online when you booking because I don’t know where the money goes, we had to pay again at the hotel and claim your money back which doesn’t make any sense, ather than that it’s perfect for the price "

"The house looks new but it's not well maintained- broken toilet seat/cover, bathroom glass walls not well cleaned, fridge and microwave were visibly dirty. Inner pillow covers need a wash too. Internet signal is weak inside the room. Good price though."

"Dirty rooms (white room slippers turned brown). Worst customer service ever received from reception staff- slow, you had to beg for basic attention/ requests/ services. Bags gone through. Breakfasts abismal- swinging from first day with nothing ready but eggs, to laid out but with rotten fruit. Not to be repeated. "
