One Bedroom (King) with sofa sleeper (queen) on the shores of Wilke Lake in Manitowoc County. Includes: air-conditioning, dishwasher, electric fire-place, flat screen TV with satellite, internet access, gas grill, outdoor furniture, fire pit (starter wood provided), private pier, paddle boat and kayak.

Area Attractions include: Henning Wisconsin Cheese Factory / Museum(less than 1 mile away) stop in to learn how cheese is made or or for a taste of a locally produced ice cream. Six of Wisconsin's top golf courses are within 30 minutes of our location including The Bull, Black Wolf Run and Whistling Straits (Irish and Straights Cources), Pine Hills Country Club. Road America is about 20 minutes away. Green Bay Packer Stadium and Packer Hall of Fame about 50 miles. Art lovers may enjoy the John Michael Kohler Arts Center or The Plymouth Arts Center. Good shopping and restaurants close.

Fun Stay

Worked out quite well for us. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat on the lake. Its a small unit but perfect for 2 adults/2 children.

A quiet place to stay on a beautiful lake.

Roomy enough for two adults, clean and well maintained property with a lake view and a dock right out the patio door. Perfect for summer time relaxing.

Lovely little cottage.

Wonderful hosts! Very clean and comfortable cottage on nice lake. Private back yard area which was great for our dogs. Enjoyed the kayaks and firepit!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 46th anniversary. We had all the comforts of home and very clean! Didn’t do much cooking, so many great places to eat, but the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts Mary and Richard were very accommodating! We so enjoyed the peacefulness and the view of the lake!

Perfect little getaway

Loved it here - cabin was perfect size and extremely clean. Best part, that king bed was extremely comfortable. Cabin situated on the end of the road next to the owners who were available to answer questions and very kind. Our dogs loved the yard and the lake. It was so great to find a place that would allow more than one dog (rare find). Truly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The property is exactly as the pictures show. The patio is private and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The lake was very weedy in mid-July. Kiel is a quick drive into town for groceries. If you want a quiet getaway, you'll be pleased.

A pleasant place on a quiet lake. We requested an extra night due to car issues and the hosts were very gracious about it. Sunrises were gorgeous! We had trouble getting tv channels we were used to, but spent the time sitting outside and watching the stars. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Lake House Life =)

What a wonderful stay with Richard and Mary! The bedroom windows and sliding glass door look out over the lake, the lake breeze is especially pleasant in the evening, and the A/C made for comfortable sleeping in a wonderful bed. The reading chair with a view of the lake was perfect -- and so was the chance to take the new pup out for her first pedal boat ride just at sunset. I look forward to returning for further adventures and relaxation!

My with and I, both in our 70’s with husband needing walker. We had planned to have a last summer trip, and this could not have been nicer. Extremely clean, well suited for a walker, beautiful lakeside view with adjoining fire pit. The owners were both very accomadating and readily available for any questions. It was a wonderful way for us to end the summer. Thank you to the owners.

Fall get away

Very comfy, had everything we needed, on the lake, view of the lake and at perfect timing of the fall colors, just beautiful! We it rained most ofvthevtime, but we found many things to do, andplacesvto eat, there are a few Supper clubs near by, Schwartz's is the favorite. Fantastic food.the owner's were very welcoming and left us to ours. Only steps away if we needed anything. And they will do your laundy. They have kayaks and a rowboat to use. We sat by the fire and BBQ'd and watched the boaters go by. Very quiet and peaceful.

Relaxing at grandpas cabin

Awesome time, stores near by for food. Peaceful location, went out on lake in kayaks and paddle board. Wish I had a fishing license. Saw a lot of little fish by dock. Lots of turtles stick heads out of water. Saw geese, Herons, Egrets, cardinals, several other smaller birds. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Great romantic getaway. Owners were great, checked in, made sure we had everything we needed. We ran out is salt called them and got salt with in 2 minutes. We enjoyed our time and recommend location.

Lakeside retreat

The photos were very accurate and the cottage was a perfect size for 2 people looking to get away for a few days. Everything was clean and AC worked great. Even though the owners lived next door, they gave us plenty of privacy after the initial welcome. We ran out of time to use the kayak and paddleboat, but we enjoyed floating off the dock. I only wish there weren't so many weeds, but I know those are getting removed. Enjoying coffee at daybreak and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit at sunset are a must. We have friends that live on this lake, so this was a great location. Grocery store and restaurants were a short drive and we were only 35 minutes from Kettle moraine forest for hiking. Thanks to the owners for sharing their cottage with us! We will be back.

Grampa's place at the lake

Property was very clean, everything you need was supplied! We brought our small fishing boat along and could leave it tied up at the dock for our stay. Boat launch was very close to Property and well maintained. We used the paddle boatto go around the lake. We tried swimming right off the dock by cabin, but it is very mucky and lots of seaweed. Go out into the middle of the lake to swim, but only during quiet hours, 6Pm to 11am no wake. The lake was very quiet during the week, weekends were much busier. Owners were helpful with any questions, they live on the property as well. We didn't see much of them , you have plenty of privacy. We would highly recommend this property!
