Great Family Friendly Home, Close to Beach!

Nestled in the West Beach area of Kiawah Island, this property is a wonderful, family-friendly 5 bedroom home. It is the perfect island location and sits just minutes from the beach with a bike/walking trail accessible directly behind the home.

The home has everything you need for an ideal vacation with family or friends. The open concept floorplan gives ample space to play, relax, cook, or conversate. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area and has direct access to the back deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The large center island is perfect for entertaining and has 6 bar stools for additional seating. The dining area comfortably seats 10 guests for dinner and also accesses the screened-in porch.

There are four bedrooms on the first level and a fifth bedroom on the second floor of the home. The master bedroom (Bedroom 1), which is located just off the living room, features a king sized bed, TV, and private bathroom. The master bathroom includes double vanity, large soaking tub, and spacious shower. The second bedroom (Bedroom 2), also located just off the living room area, contains a queen bed and private bathroom. Down the main floor hallway, you will find the third and fourth bedrooms (Bedroom 3 and 4), one containing two twin beds and the other has a queen bed. These rooms share a bathroom. The final bedroom (Bedroom 5) is located upstairs. It is the perfect room for kids or teens. It features three queen beds, a TV, and a private bathroom.

One of the highlights of the home is the scenic screened-in porch and large open deck with a gas grill. It's the perfect outdoor area to enjoy a cup of coffee and has plenty of seating to enjoy the amazing nature all around.

The perfect family friendly beach house

This house was perfect for our family! We have from 2 years old to 55 and the house fit all of our needs! We rented bikes from Alligator bikes and the beach was a quick 3 minute ride! The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend at the beach.

Best Ever

We enjoyed our stay in Kiawah for the 4th year in a row. However, this home was the very best so far! Clean! Cozy! Well loved by the owners! Convenient to beach and to Freshfields. We especially loved our bike rides all over the island. A place for everyone in the house to settle in and relax, read, play games! We hope to rent this place every year!

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

My wife and I stayed with our three sons, their wives and our two young grand children. There was plenty of space in the large open kitchen and living room/dining area. Plus the bonus of the porch and deck area provided a quiet outdoor space. The large kitchen was well equipped for us to cook large family meals. It was a short walk to the beautiful Kiawah beach along a quiet bike path - a little far for the two-year-old but we rented a wagon to carry her which worked well. Sweetgrass Properties who manage this house were extremely responsive to our email questions and when we requested a broom to sweep the deck a man showed up with a broom and offered to use a leaf blower on the deck within 30 minutes - excellent service!

The house was perfect! It was less than a 2-3 min bike ride to the beach and very easy to get to. We enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings & evenings and the kitchen offered a large table that easily accommodated 8 people.

Wedding weekend

Stayed at this property for a wedding weekend. It was a great house for our group. We had four couples, it was a rainy weekend and we had plenty of room to spread out, everyone had their own space and the open living area was good size for gathering, games, tv etc The location was convenient for our weekend events.

A beautiful, roomy home!

We were 8 adults and one small child - easily fit in this home and never felt cramped. The open kitchen/eating area/great room was very inviting and easily held the 20 total number of guests for our big birthday bash.

Extremely clean home. Excellent layout for multi family groups. Lovely, clean screened in porch. Large, well-equipped kitchen. About 3-4 block walk to the beach. No beach equipment provided so be sure to bring your own or arrange rental.

Great Beach Vacation House

Nice property, well maintained and served us well. We vacationed with our 3 sons, their spouses and all our grandchildren. House fit us very well, particularly the kitchen, dining and living area. It is spacious so that meal prep and serving a large group was smooth. Rooms & beds were comfortable. Walk to the beach was easy and nicely shaded! We had a great week and enjoyed the house - the families all said this house really worked well. We also took some great family pictures on the front steps - very nice setting! We would rent again! Great getaway for multigenerational family of seven!

This house was excellent for our family of seven. The open floorplan and wide hallways were perfect for my three toddlers to run around. The only stairs in the house are a half flight to one bedroom which meant neither my little ones nor my elderly parents had to traverse stairs until we were ready to leave. Only drawback was the walk to the beach which, while easy for many was a bit much for my parents and my toddlers, but we made it work. We hope to be back next spring!

I love this house! We have stayed here before. Unfortunately one of the A/C units stopped working the last night. They could not fix it. The oven was very difficult to read. Other than that the house was perfect..

Great Accommodations

Enjoyed the house. Adequately equipped. Beds slept well. Layout was perfect for 4 couples. Great location to the beach … very short walk. Around corner from walking/biking trail which was extremely nice. The only issue which I addressed with property management company was master and adjoining room toilet had plumbing issues and shower doors did not close properly. This did not hinder our experience but should be addressed accordingly. I would recommend and stay here again.

The Perfect House

We have been coming to Kiawah for over twenty years. When our family got too big for a condo, we began to rent houses and this one is by far the nicest ever. It was clean and welcoming, and it was perfectly configured for our family which is composed of two grandparents, four parents, and four children ages 14, 11, 5, and 1. The 11 and 14-year-olds loved having the upper floor to themselves and the baby's Pack-n-Play fit perfectly in the large walk-in closet, with parents and 5-year-old in the adjoining two bedrooms with the shared bath. The other two bedrooms were perfect for the other adults. The dining table was big enough for the whole family, and the screened-in-porch was wonderful for our community jigsaw puzzles. We cook our dinners in, so we really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen. It was nice to be so close to The Nest for breakfasts out, and the walk or bike to the beach was so close. We hope that we can keep renting this lovely home for our early summer weeks for many years.

Great place and location of house

It was a great family trip and a great place to stay, even though fridge didn’t cool at all for two days we managed to cool our food and drinks with ice in coolers, 10 min walk to beach and friendly neighbors, we enjoyed our little trip.
