This was a great little spot on the island and the unit was clean and very spacious. Adele was super friendly and helpful and ensured that we had the baby items we needed for our grandson. It would have been nice to have the basics: salt, pepper and oil for cooking. These are all available at the general store but very expensive of course. There was no means to brew a pot of coffee but Adele kindly gave us the use of her own personal French press.

The location was perfect and Kevin and Adele were wonderful hosts. It was great being able to eat dinner or buy groceries just a 2min walk up the street, appreciated having the dingo fence around us, and the kids favorite was the swing at the top of the sand dune just a 5 min walk down the beach to the right. A great spot for whale watching as well. K'Gari truly is paradise.

Perfect spot on Fraser to unwind an relax for a few days. We used Sailfish as a base to explore the middle and south parts of the island before moving further north for a few more nights, and found it to be the perfect location for this. The rooms are very large and the apartment itself is spacious and well equipped. Full size kitchen including an oven and dishwasher! The rooms were clean and well appointed. Forget Eurong, Happy Valley is much more quiet and hidden, and has a great little pub/restuarant. We will be back!

Our unit was spacious clean and well presented. It had all necessities. It wasn’t communicated that we had two accesses to the unit. When I did find a second entry, it was unlocked, and had been for two days. Communication !! Perfect access to Eli Creek.

Our family of 5 stayed in a ground floor apartment and it was perfect for a family of our size and even had an ensuite. We enjoyed using the bbq provided and the location to both the happy valley shop and beach were excellent. Thr owners were also very helpful and gave great tips on the surrounding areas and tides etc. Highly recommend to other families.

Really good location to see a lot of things on the island. Our unit was nice with everything you need but just needed a bit better clean, thick dust on the curtains in the room we were in not a big deal but just something that needs attention especially for people with asthma.

since this is beach access by car only having car wash facilities for free was great. The unit we stayed in was massive great cooking facilities a shared BBQ, swimming pool and under cover parking 2 bathrooms and a balcony with outdoor setting. Centrally positioned on Fraser at Happy Valley only a short walk to the pub and shop great place to spend 5 days

Perfect place to stay if you have kids. They are spacious units for a family with full amenities provided inc dishwasher and washing machine and are located right near the beach with a pool and a grassed area for the kids to play. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The only con was that the units and decor are starting to date however they were still very comfortable and clean and all modern amenities were provided. We will definatly come back again.

Our rooms were surprisingly spacious. The property was cleaner than we had expected due to location, sand is hard to keep out but they had done a good job. Unfortunately we had to leave early but had no regrets with Sailfish or the hosts.

Recommend for east beach stay
Happy Valley best spot for driving access north and south on east beach and some inland beauty spots. Pub and store a benefit. Sailfish spacious and comfortable with balcony/terrace eating spaces.Some upstairs apartments may have views and more light into the rooms; downstairs apartments have excellent access to lawns, pool, eating tables on lawn. Recommended.

Great central location, place and location.
Second stay here at these apartments (17 years apart) , the place is aging a bit, but clean and tidy with really good managers of the property. This is the best spot to base when touring the island over I recommend a week. Highly recommended and will be back.

Great roomy 2 bdr apartment with 2 bathrooms, good views to ocean, friendly owners, easy access and great position to go everywhere on fraser, general store , pub with nice meals and the beach are all within walking distance, kitchen has everything except microwave containers , will stay here again

The door latch will be replaced on the upper level. The bed is a queen size bed as we do not have any double beds in the complex. Yes there were a group in 6 of the apartments and they were noisy and advised to please reduce the noise level.

Fantastic
We stayed 4 nights at Sailfish 2 x adults and 3 x kids. Apartment 7 was perfect with large wrap around veranda and ocean views. Large dining table and ample space in lounge to relax at the end of a big day of driving, fishing and swimming. Centrally located on the island to reach Eli Creek, Maheno Wreck and Indian Head, as well as inland track to Mackenzie Lake and Central Station. Fraser Island is truly a magical place!!

A lovely spot on Fraser
It was a lovely stay at a well located site at Happy Valley. Chrissy and Brian were superb and very friendly. We love the whole eco friendly part of staying. Only comment would be that the building and decor is dated.

A lovely, spacious apartment.
Great location, friendly managers and the apartment was spacious and well equipt. Unfortunately our washing machine was faulty but the managers kindly offered to do it in their machine. All in all we were very satisfied with our overall experience here.
