Very happy in Happy Valley
Lils place is fabulous. We stayed 5 nights but wish it was longer. The house has everything you would need and more, it was extremely clean and spacious, easy to find, in a terrific location, has plenty of room, all the fans worked, the outdoor space was great for all meals. The garden is lovely, the lawns were freshly mowed and there is a hose supplied right next to the driveway to rinse off feet and the cars. Kev is the caretaker and a very helpful guy. He is there to help with any enquiry or advice on the best places to see. You certainly won't regret a stay at Lils place.

Haven for our family
We were grateful for this accommodation. Our days were long, sunfilled, and adventurous as we explored the island from Hook Point to Sandy Cove and across to Kingfisher Bay along with everything in between. It was wonderful to come back to Happy Valley and comfort of Lil's Place. The home was well set up for families. We had our adult children and partners plus our granddaughter and the shower was refreshing for the at-capacity household. The BBQ and cooking facilities were clean and functional and we were very comfortable We enjoyed the visiting goannas and leaf-tailed geckos the cicadas that visited in the evening. Thank you and we left Lil's Place as we found it.

The perfect house for our get away
Lil's Place was the perfect house for our two families to stay together on Fraser. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Perfect location
We had a beautiful stay at Lil’s Place - everything we needed in one house. Location was perfect, the block backs onto some bush land so nice and private. Perfect deck and BBQ area for afternoon drinks - we will be back!

Family fun on Fraser
Just about the most magical place for a family holiday. The place was nothing fancy but most enjoyable with everything we needed. Beds comfy and lots of family memories made. Fraser is just magical and having this place to come home to each night of our stay was great. Central to Happy Valley local store and eastern side for beaches. Perfect way to spend school holidays in winter.!!!

Awesome house, fantastic location
We were a family of 7, the house has everything you could want, plenty of room, great kitchen and bathroom. Location is awesome, middle of the island and great for day trips no matter if you’re going north, south or to the other side of the Island. The pub and restaurant at Happy Valley is great and well priced. Lastly, Bob and Dee (on site managers) were very helpful.

Lovely house
Wonderful place. Stayed 9 nights. 3 kids 6 adults. Great spot for people to hidie away and make noise (until 10pm) no direct neighbours. Bob and dee were very nice and helpful. Greeted us on arrival and ran though what to do. Would be definitely booking here again.

Best location in Happy Valley
We had 2 families with 3 children each and we all fitted no problems. But the biggest surprise was the location out the back of Happy Valley, so quiet and peaceful, virtually no neighbors. The outdoor deck area is a superb place to sit and relax after a busy day at the beach.

Great Holiday House
We just spent a week at Lil's place over the September School Holidays and it was perfect for us (Group of 7). The refurbished outdoor area was our go to spot after spending long days on the beach. The house was well equipped and extremely clean, a credit to the current property caretakers. We look forward to future stays if availability allows 😊 Thank you for having us!

Nice place to stay
The house is still being fixed up, so there were some lumps and bumps in the floor. Some spots on the floor didn't feel the strongest. Beds aren't for the tallest of people but still comfortable. The house has a nice outdoors BBQ area. Overall it is a very nice place to stay.

Off all our friends that came to Happy Valley (45 spread over 8 homes) Lil’s Place is just the best place for entertaining on the deck Great BBQ, great kitchen, fantastic beds, deep freezer, 2 toilets and protected from wind. It should be your first house to try to book into.

The house suited our need perfectly, located in Happy valley it was central to everything we planed to do on our stay. only concerns we had was the outside shower head was broken on arrival and the caretaker kept turning the pump on to fill the water tank, maybe they felt they where helping or most guest used lots of water and didn’t follow instructions. Over all we are very happy with the home and are looking forward to going back again.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The place itself was tidy, I wouldn’t say cleaned. Not sure if they get someone to clean bathrooms or if it’s up to the previous people to clean it. Great outdoor area where we chilled after a big day with drinks and food. Overall a nice place and private. Great spot to venture the island from as its central. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here with 3 families (10 ppl in total) . We managed easily with 1 shower & 2 toilets. Hot Water System coped well and solar system was seamless. Great undercover outdoor area with BBQ and large table for meals. Convenient location in Happy Valley, very close to the resort for morning coffee and afternoon beverages. The house was good for our usage. (We spent every day out exploring the island. Typically 8.30 - 4.30) Would consider staying here again in the future. Owners good to deal with and quick response time to emails.

What a great home away from home! Lil's place had everything we could possibly need, spacious enough for 6 adults, so close to the beach and shop, and yet so peaceful. The house was spotlessly clean, and we couldn't have wished for more!

Our stay was great at Lils place
Overall our stay was great! Although our water did turn off during our stay but we were able to fix that quickly. Also to mention that you are not allowed to plug much in at the property as it is run off solar power. The washing machine is an older one so can take some time to get the washing done. There is no sleeping bags allowed as well (unsure why) but there is a note in every bedroom. The house was in a great location and plenty of room for our kids to run around. Although be wary of the goannas they love to try get into everything while you are not there. The kitchen was great had everything that we needed ! The happy valley bar and restaurant across the road is amazing, the food, the people and the service! Would stay at Lils place again and now we know a few more things that weren’t listed on the ad will make our stay easier.

Centrally located with Everything you need for a great stay
Lils place is centrally located in happy valley and only a hop skip and jump from the store, which the kids loved so they could get their choc milkshake fix. Located within a short drive of Eli creek and central to most of the other Fraser Island attractions. The house had everything we wanted with a large bathroom and double shower, 2 toilets, washing machine and most importantly a big chest freezer for all our food for our week adventure and fish. Outdoor area was perfect for the family and kids and very private being in the edge of the township. Would highly recommend Lils place and will definitely look to stay again.

First impression, great aspect, carefully restored home, great facility. Thanks to Kevin for explaining water pump timer and other local information. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great shower and bathroom . Good lounge and satellite Wi-Fi bonus!!. A lovely quiet base for exploring the island .Happy valley is fenced, great for peace of mind with young ones. A very refreshing time for us,thanks lil,s place and happy Valley. Also had lovely meals at Fraser island retreat,a short walk from house.

Lil’s place was lovely and very well stocked. It was very close to the Resort and most other places of interest. The outdoor shower was great after the beach and the great outdoor patio was great too. The only disappointment was that the TV didn’t work and you could only watch DVD’s at top volume, the remote was broken so we changed the batteries and still no good. We contacted the property manager and he did come and try fix it but couldn’t so he told us he’d bring a new one the next day but he didn’t and didn’t contact us about it. Not that we watched much TV but it would have been good for the kids to watch something of a night. We would stay at this house again.
